Most honest and detailed review possible…
The outfit runs big. I wear a 16-18 and got the 1XL and if I had time I would have returned it for the next smaller size. Despite the pics looking like gold, the outfit is black with silver glitter and the belt is gold. The shirt has no buttons. It’s just a wrap around and the gold belt holds it closed. My glitter didn’t shed as bad as it sounds like everyone else’s did, but I did leave a trace of glitter everywhere I went. The Velcro of the belt will snag the outfit if it touches it; which is kind of hard to avoid. The pants are extremely long. I’m 5’5 and wore 4 inch heels with the pants pulled up under my breasts and even then they were about an inch past my shoes. They are flare bottom pants so it was kind of dangerous when the pants would get caught under my four inch heel while walking. All that aside, the outfit was very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on it. No regrets.

Runs big
I am 240 and wear size 20 in jeans, I usually get a 2x but I read the reviews and seen it runs large so I got a xl instead. That was also too big for me but I still wore it. It is super cute however besides it running big you will literally leave glitter EVERYWHERE. You may also want to wear a cami underneath because the only thing that holds the top together is that gold band. I feel like I'll never get all this glitter out of my apartment and car. That was the only big downfall for me and it running big. It is also not made for shorter people (I'm 5'2) my pants drug all over the ground even in heels.

SO. MUCH. GLITTER. Not in a good way
I'm a size 14/16 and bought a 1X. It was HUGE. Also, even in heels the pants were too long.Funny note, the tag says "Do not wash. Do not dry. Spot clean only" So, don't wear this is you sweat, drink, eat or wear perfume lolOh, and it's covered in glued on surface glitter that goes EVERYWHERE the moment the package is opened or whenever the fabric touches ANYTHINGSO. MUCH. GLITTER

Fabric is sheer lots of glitter I'm a 3X and I've got a 1X because of other review so go smaller then your original size

Glitter, Glitter, and more Glitter
This was a cute costume but there was so much glitter that came off the shirt and pants. So. Much. Glitter. All over my house, all over my car, all over my office. Glitter was EVERYWHERE. Buyer beware.
