Why won’t my remote pair? I have tried the reset “speed+ and speed-“instructions. Red light flashes on the remote but no response from the lights

I have the exact same problem and yes I have removed the insulating sheet. How else would the red light on the remote flash?

Is this rated for 12A peak or 6A pics and specs are contradictory

12A peak (maximum for fraction of a second) with a 6A nominal ( constant running) .. but would never run these over 3A nominal if you want it to last more than a few hours.
