~I had, had this Bread Knife from Chicago Cutlery before & lost it. I found it out on Amazon & it was a decent deal for the Product. Where I bought the 1st Bread Knife - it was cheaper. Fortunately, this Product is very good.Enjoy

Very Happy with the Knife
Performs well cutting bread, and (don't tell wifee) trimming some bamboo chopsticks for a project....I've used Chicago Cutlery knives for years, they sharpen well, hold an edge, and are sturdy enough without being too heavy.Unfortunately for the company,their products last and don't need replacement.Sure, you can spend more and get no better functionality, or less and get something that won't last.For me this one hits the price/performance sweet-spot.

Nice blade/handle one piece unit keeps dirt from accumulating. knife is too large for my bagels, but good for larger items.

cutting bread is fun with this blade. I'm getting fat on bread and bagels, you can as well. I buy whole loves and cut them myself. Sure I'm insane but this knife is smooth and perfectly balanced. Don't cut your pinky,
