Nice craftsmanship by Draw-Tite
This hitch fit like a well oiled glove! Every hole lined up as it should, all the factory Ford splash guards reinstalled without a hitch (pun intended), and it looks factory. I added lock-tite and a jam nut to the mounting bolts, but I tend to overbuild everything. Great hitch at a great price.

Packaging was abysmal, you may have to enlarge pass through holes
I'm not entirely sure how to rate this. Will it hold my bike tray rack on the car for a decade? I have little doubt. 5/5Did it arrive with all of its paint and e coat intact? It did not. "It's a huge metal bar! Let's put it in a giant box with a token layer of brown paper, so it can bang around and poke holes in the box." I hate dealing with returns, and if you do as well, budget $10 for some rust preventative touch up paint. If there was an option to buy this for $20 more with some assurance that whoever puts it in the box cares if it arrives with paint intact, I would take that option. Bubble wrap....s'more cardboard...a box 1/3rd the size....there are any number of ways of addressing it. 2/5Installation went mostly smoothly, except that the rectangular plates were slightly too big for my oval access slots. One I could bang through with a very modest hammer, some I couldn't and I had to Dremel a little. Is it imperative that they have between 1/64" and -1/64" of clearance in order to function? Maybe a tiny bit smaller would still be okay and be easier to install? 3/5That said it looks fine and once I touch up the bare metal, I won't have to worry about it for the rest of the time I own my 2019 Edge SEL.Kick to open hatch worked 1 of 1 time trying it, not that I use that feature much.

Good quality - nice installation!
This product is high quality and very well made. The installation is nice and neat and does not detract from the vehicle or stick out much. It was not easy to install, but I was able to manage it.I have some comments about the installation and instructions. The instructions recommend removing or dropping the exhaust. I was worried about doing this and I did not end up needing to. The big secret was removing the rear bumper fascia, which also worried me, but which actually went well. Once the two plastic side panels underneath are removed (step one), the bumper fascia can come off, although the instructions do not give good detail as to how to do this. There are a total of 6 plastic pins/rivets to remove on each side, three that go through the wheel opening molding and three that are below it. There is also a single torx head screw behind the wheel opening molding. Once all of this is removed, you can work to "pop" the fascia out by starting at the wheel well by the top and working back on each side. Work toward the rear of the vehicle until you get to the hatch opening. At the hatch opening on each side, there are two plastic pin inserts (one on top of the other) on each side and these have to popped out to remove the fascia. This was the toughest part to get out, but if you work your hand behind the piece from the side as it "peels" away you can pop them by applying pressure toward the back of the vehicle. Once you get these pin inserts popped out on each side, the fascia comes free. There is nothing holding the fascia on the bottom at this point. There is only one electrical that must be disconnected to remove the fascia. At this point you should have good access to the mounting locations for the hitch. The pull wires worked very well for feeding the bolts and hardware through the entrance hole and out the mounting holes. This was not a struggle. However, one thing i did not see in the instructions, is that when you are reinstalling the two plastic side covers underneath, you will have to drill a hole through them to allow one of the bottom hitch mounting bolts to poke through.I hope this is helpful.

Perfect fit and stout as a metal I-beam.
This hitch is well designed requiring no drilling, Period. Uses all factory hole locations, with a fairly easy install, but highly recommend having another pair of hands to lift in place and set a couple of bolts to hold the hitch to the frame. Not only is it well designed, but built like a tank with great welds, heavy powder coat finish and no surprises along the installation procedure....well as long as you don't use the instructions to install it. I highly recommend that you go to youtube or etrailer and watch a installation video. The instructions that came with the hitch were pretty much useless. There is one small diameter screw stud that does need to be removed. You could twist it back and forth a few times and try to break it off, or in my case I used a small dremel cut off wheels which cut through it with ease. The hitch frame itself tucks up and out of the way above the exhaust and behind the rear valance. So all you see is the 2"x2" opening of the receiver and the chain holds.I mounted this on a 2020 Ford Edge SE.

Awesome "hidden" hitch
I have a 2018 Ford Edge titanium. This hitch was very easy to install. The bolts fit through the frame nicely and it feels very solid when installed. I like how it tucks up between the muffler and the heat shield for the rear bumper. I did have to remove a couple of screws for the heat shield and plastic wheel well trim but everything goes right back into place. I highly recommend the Curt wiring kits as well. Total installation time for wiring and hitch was about 2 hours laying on cardboard with the car on jack stands. This hitch does put the receiver very low. It's at about 13" when installed. You will need to flip over the installed ball on your hitch attachment. A flipped 4" drop hitch puts the top of the ball @ 16" perfect for a Class 2 5X8' Uhaul trailer. Follow the instructions and this installation goes great. Btw the wave your foot to open the hatch still works when installed!

Fits 2015 Edge Sport
This hitch really fit well . The installation of the connecting bolts wasn’t as difficult as you would think . It does not interfere with the bumper or rear valance on Ford edge sport 2015 . And it sits square when all tightened up .However to retain sturdiness of the rear valance the plastic cover between the muffler and bumper will need to be modified although It could just be left out . It’s personal choice . The best instructions I found for installation are on You Tube .

Easy Install !!
Trailer hitch bar was an easy install, followed the directions and it all went together nicely. It seems there is no option to reinstall the bottom bit of facia/valence trim. I have left it off and created two aluminum brackets to support the remaining panel. All done but picking the right tow bar for trailer hitch height. Thanks for the great product!!
