Hygger air pump is designed for large fish tank, it can pump more oxygen into the water to keep a health environment for your aquariums.Premium & DurableWith the use of magnetic levitation & high-quality material, the aquarium air pump has long service life. The pump motor runs through magnetic bearings, moving part rotor has no physical contact with stator, so it can be up to a super high speed with low faction and no mechanical wear, that's why this pump can be so powerful & durable. The Secrets of Quiet This pump is very silent. If you store it under a cabinet, you can hardly hear it. Quiet secrets are as below:* Magnetic bearings reduce the motor vibration and noise to the least.* Sound insulation stainless steel inner case covers the motor.* Motor is fixed to the bottom case with 4 durable rubber columns.* The bottom case has 4 rubber shockproof feet.* Rubber buffer pads are along the case gaps. When shake the pump, something wobbles inside. Is it normal? It is normal. The motor is fixed by rubber columns to bottom case, when shake the pump, the motor cover may slightly knock to the top case.Warm Tips:1. The pump is not waterproof or submersible.2. Put a towel under the pump can reduce the sound more less.3. Set the air pump flat on a surface.4. Please soak the air stones for 10 mins before use to get perfect bubbles with this pump.5. It's better to use check valve to prevent back flow of water into the pump in case of sudden power failure.6. We suggest to put the pump above the tank, if put below, check valve is the must have.Specifications:Power: 10W Voltage: 100-120V/60HzPressure: 0.03MPaOutlet size: 4mm Output: 250GPH(16L/min)Noise: <35dBDimension: 5.9x5.1x4inchCord length: 4.9ftLimit depth of water: 2mPackage Includes: 1 x Aquarium Air pump 1 x User Manual

Why didn't I change pumps before? This is AWESOME!
Wow! I run a 75 gallon tank with big goldfish - and need serious air circulation to help keep the tank clean. I used a Whisper 150 and was considering a 300, but noticed the large Pawfly hydroponics airstones recommended a 6watt air pump - and even the big Whisper wasn't close. So I searched for a 6watt pump, and this one appeared - a 10watt pump, for nearly the same price. When I unboxed it in the kitchen, I honestly had to put my hand on top, to verify it was working, it was so quiet (practically silent, compared to the old Whisper 150). Once I attached new airlines with check valves and started the pump in the cabinet under the aquarium, I now understand why others have noted this one pump can easily power several entire tank systems! The bubble curtains I now have from 2 Pawfly 8" airstones are pushing air brought both airstones - not just 3 or 4 streams of bubbles, but the whole length of both stones! Highly recommended!

So, so quiet it's a little unbelievable
I was highly skeptical reading reviews before purchasing this pump as I could not fathom how a pump with this capacity could be anything close to quiet. I was dead wrong.I purchased this pump to drive upwards of 8- 10 gallon tanks with sponge filters on a breeding / fry rack. It is running all 8- 5" poret sponge cube filters with plenty of power left over. I have no doubt I could add a whole other rack, possibly two, and run those off of this same pump.Quiet. I have had plenty of name brand air pumps that had 1/10th the capacity of this pump that were orders of magnitude louder than this. This pump is nearly silent, especially considering the noise of the air bubbling in the tanks. When you walk into the room, all you can hear is the bubbling coming from the sponge filters in the tanks, no pump noise at all. Don't get me wrong, the pump does make a noise, but compared to everything else it is functionally silent. This pump absolutely embarasses all of the name brand air pumps sold at your LFS. I sincerely hope it has longevity because if it does I will be switching my whole fish room over to these pumps.

Air to spare! & it is quiet too> I bought 2, 2 yrs apart
Originally I purchased an Eh400 air pump that was definitely quieter than the Whsp60 pumps that I had. Then I ran across this pump. Could not find anything about it anywhere. It says you can put it in a bedroom or living room. The first thing I noticed after turning it on was the feel of the flow of air that came out of each nozzle. Much more than average - and more than the other pumps I had previously had hooked up. The volume must be at least double of what I had before. The sound is very very low. You can still feel the vibrations. At 5 feet a hum is perceivable, but the bubbles are much louder. This is the largest volume air pump (vibrator type, not piston) I have had since 1965, with maybe one exception. Also, most significantly, one of the quietest. The outside black covering encases another box inside which houses the 12 v ac motor (adapter included), so it is a box in a box, which is probably partly responsible for how quiet it is. You will always hear some hum from these pumps: it is just a matter of how much you can tolerate. If you are looking for an air pump that pushes volumes at a very low sound level, try this one. It is about as loud as a working air stone sounds. The company claims to make sure you are happy with your purchase.pros:small size/footprint considering volume pumpedlarge volume of air pumped (used on 12 tanks, approx 100 gallons, with air to spare)not badly priced considering what you getquiet considering volume of air (specs say less than 35 db)quiet compared to most other large (and many small) vibrator air pumpscons:no air control of either outletvery sparse translated documentation (none really needed)must lay flat (probably cannot hang)endurance - unknown - comes with 1 year warrantyThere is an air filter that must be cleaned once in a while, or flow will decrease.Be aware that this pump is not silent, just less loud than others.Addition September 2019. I purchased another one last month. The new one has a line direct to the ac wall outlet as opposed to the first that went to a transformer/power supply. Also note that you MUST keep the air filter clean regularly to insure consistent air flow. There is so much volume pumped that it clogs and really reduces air flow.

Very Quiet High Output
Pros: Very quiet with a high air output. Reasonable price.Cons: Lacks an air pressure control valve.Other: This air pump is fairly large in size but very quiet in my opinion. It has a dual output and can handle multiple air stones with ease in a deep tank. I have it in 90 gallon tank. It would have been nice if it came with a built in pressure valve but it's not really a big deal but if you need to reduce pressure you need valves and tees. I used the foam insert the pump was packed in as extra padding underneath for a little extra cushioning. Very good product.I gave it a very good review at first as it worked really well but just recently I awoke early in the morning to a strange loud noise and traced it to the another room in the house and noticed it was this air pump. I'm not sure what happened but it sounds more like an electric razor now and unfortunately it is beyond the return window.
