Thanks for your question! All of our shades are entirely based on ones present hair color. This shade is perfect for someone with dark brown, black or salt & pepper hair. It's also beautiful with ash (white) blonde or gray hair.

Here's a list of the ingredients: Mica, Zinc Stearate, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Bismuth Oxychloride, Zinc Oxide, Phenoxyethanol, Silica, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Aloe Barbadensis Extract. Q: What's the best color for a dark skin black woman?

Jill's line is based on hair color more than skin tone. Deep Rose looks great on me as someone who was a dark brunette and is now salt and pepper. I would suggest you look at her website and look at the colors associated with your hair color. If you have dark or black hair - this should look good on you in my opinion.
