im 5’6 and around 120-125 lbs, what size should i get?

I bought my daughter a size small. She is 5’2” and 120 lbs. She has a very athletic build. I wish I had bought her a medium because they are so tight and short but she says that’s how they’re supposed to fit. Hope that helps.
