Aroma 8 Cup Digital Cool Touch Turbo Rice Pressure Cooker, Silver (APC-804SB)

I have had this cooker for a few months now. I thought I had a problem with the timer. Called customer service, they sent me a return label to ship to them for testing. After several discussions and testing it was returned. I thought there was still a problem. I uploaded a video of me using the cooker. Turns out it was user error. So glad they were patient and understanding with me. It's a great tool to use in the kitchen with lots of meal options. Would highly recommend.

I recieved a warehouse version thinking scratch and dent was ok. It was dirty like food dirty and parts were missing. When I contacted Amazon they were like uh...return it. No apology or anything. Super disappointed.

This pot works well I am able to set it and have chili or beef cook in a short space of time without having to wonder if the water has dried out. The product got 4 stars and not 5 because I find that I generally had to add 15 more minutes for the preset to do beans. Have not yet tried it for chicken or rice but would have liked if it had a roast or bake function too. But all in all the product works well and I have recommended to other family members who too have enjoyed using this product .

I got this as a gift 6 months ago. The inner non- stick bowl gets areas of burnt black residue after each cooking. They are very hard to remove as I don’t want to use any harsh abrasives on it. I’ve been very careful to use oil spray and/or water to prevent that from happening, but the bowl keeps getting black. . Almost every other time I use it as a pressure cooker it doesn’t pressurize. It gets frustrating. I cleaned the lid parts to no avail.

I thought the inside rice insert would be larger, but beause this is a rice cooker/pressure cooker, I won't be able to use it as a slow cooker for larger meals that i like to freeze in portions for work.

I bought the 6 quart and loved it but too big for single person so. Bought this one and I love this one also. Perfect size for the ne or two people. It's quick and perfect for me. It has enough pre programmed buttons for most meals. And manual for adjusting to your desired outcome,

the rice sticks

I love everything except that I always have a very hard time closing the unit when I am ready to cook. The top just doesn't want to fit so the open sign is in the right place. (If you don't have this correct, you can't slide the top it to the left "cook" position to start the unit making your rice or whatever.) If I fumble around long enough, something may click and it drops into position. I can never figure out how. There is a little retractable pin in the top that always gets in the way so the slots along the top won't drop into the corresponding spaces in the body of the unit.I wish the manufacturers would provide a video showing how to close the wretched thing.
