This is perfect for any room where you want really gently lighting. I have it in my bedside lamp. When I’m winding down, it’s a lovely light that’s not too bright. It’s easy on the eyes and doesn’t keep you awake longer. The yellow/orange color is a nice warm touch, and it’s small enough to fit in my tiny lamp

These low watt and small sized bulbs are perfect for a couple lamps I have - on a bookcase, in the kitchen. They provide the amount of low, warm lighting I need, and the small, unobtrusive size works well with the small lampshades. Glad to find them.

Quite bright, nice light. Had to put black tape over most of the bulb for my use as stairwell light for my old cat so as to not ruin his cozy place but let him and me see the stairs.Nice lighting for dark corners of a room with a lampshade.

I LOVE this little bulb. It far exceeded my expectations and I am so glad I found it! My bedside lamp bulbs were were either too bright or too cool a color temperature (or both) and whenever I switched it on, it felt so "artificial," that it woke up my eyes and my brain and made my emotions feel so SAD, cold and powerless. BUT ... as soon as I screwed in this bulb, the room INSTANTLY felt lit by candlelight, just without the flicker! My eyes and mind received the message that this was evening, "wind-down time," homey, quietude, love, peace, romance. Yeah, it's THAT kind of bulb. Small bulb size is perfect for small tabletop lamp. The light color is warm just as I’d want from an incandescent bulb but way more energy efficient.

This lamp was a solution to an old problem. I needed more light to prevent stumbling into things in the garage. Night lights were cost conscious but ineffective. This is both. 24/7 use for roughly 30 days costs me approximately 14 cents ( 1 kwh at 14 cents ).

Exactly as advertised. Warm color tone.Looks great in my lamp. Glass shades don't get hot like they did with incandescent bulbs.
