Ironton 2-Drawer Tool Cart - 350-Lb. Capacity

I got this tool chest thinking that I could use it as an additional tool chest to go with my old Husky tool chest set that I bought while ago. My reviews on this Ironton tool chest:Pros: Good quality metal - thickness almost the same as Husky tool chest Top panels slide open to either side smoothly, key locks all drawers. 2 Drawers open and close smoothly only when top panels are open. Assembly is not too hard, although the diagram is too small to readCons: The shipping box straps came all loose and box sides are torn apart, but fortunately no inside damage. It needs a sturdier box for shipping. The assembly screws should be numbered in different bags to match the diagram. Power-coated metal paint job is not as good as Husky, and it show some paint blemishes.In my opinion, Overall It has a good design, but another larger version of this model could be even betterand more functional like 4 inches taller with 3rd drawer, and 2-4 inches deeper to keep more tools will make it an ideal tool chest.

I’m really pleased with this unit. It’s in the garage. It holds a lot, has a very sturdy work surface, it locks securely for what it is, rolls on quality casters very well on a cement floor , assembles easily. The drawers extend nice and solid on good quality tracks.I kinda thought it’d be pretty junky at this price point...but it’s quite adequate on all counts.I’m re-surprised every time I use it!

Not bad. I will keep it. This if for others who want to know before they buy. It came bent. The bottom drawer is not snug. Locking feature works good. You have to have the top open all the way on the left side to open the drawers even when unlocked. The bolts, nuts and screws came scattered in the box. The baggy that was supposed to hold them was ripped open in for than one spot. It’s decently sturdy.

Strong odor for several days after unpacking.Lock stuck from screw jar inside and couldn't open, forced to drill out lock.Spring pin for drawers is flimsy and doesn't fully extend to allow drawers to open without manual assistance.

Initially when I placed the order I was scepticle as to its sturdiness. I am very pleased.I love the sliding top option

Very useful for moving around the shop with a cart and a place to put tools. The only thing that would make this a 5 star would be, is that they don't include drawer liners.

Great cart for the money

Super straight forward easy construction, over all solid.
