Bulk Pure Whey Isolate 90, Pistachio Ice Cream, 500g

I cannot describe how disgusting this tastes.. I’ve bought a lot of protein flavours before and some are a bit naff.. but this is actually revolting.. it’s physically hard not to throw up when you taste it.. who on earth tasted this and decided it was fit for human consumption must have zero taste buds!!

Tastes horrible and fake. Unfortunately you can’t even return the open pack. So now I’m stuck with a kilo of this synthetic-tasting metallic water that’s supposed to taste like pistachio.

I find that the product quality for Bulk is usually good. However, the flavouring for Pistachio Ice Cream is entirely unpalatable. I was excited to try this flavour and hoped it would be good, as am a fan of pistachio, but this is inedible. I cannot imagine getting through 1 kg of this, let alone 500 g. Unfortunately, I had to open the package in order to find out it is terrible. I’m not sure how to return or exchange it as there is no clear way to do so through Amazon or directly through Bulk…

The pistachio ice cream flavour is unpleasant sadly.

Blends well. No lumps. But the flavour is strong. I’ll use it but won’t by this flavour again.

It tastes horrible, the colour looks chemically green, there's a fake almond taste along with it, nothing close to pistachio ice cream. We can't even manage to finish it.

I tried to cancel my order when I realised the “Pistachio Ice-Cream Flavour” had received so many negative reviews and also tried to return it once it arrived. It said it wasn’t available for self service return, i.e the seller didn’t want to offer refunds/returns. Red flag right there. I tried the product anyway as I had intended to use it. 15g powder added to hot espresso with protein milk. It dissolved eventually and wasn’t gritty. While I could taste the synthetic sweetness taste mentioned in other reviews and the odd aftertaste it wasn’t far off a pistachio latte from a certain coffee chain. Wouldn’t want it just in water or milk though. Unlikely to buy again and won’t use the brand again even after they refuse refunds/returns as I think that’s poor form but I will finish the pack. There are other much better products out there which don’t cause digestion problems.

Awful taste. It has a strong metallic aftertaste. It does taste as pistachio for the first few seconds but the aftertaste is insufferable.
