I really like this toaster! It’s easy to use, toasts the bread evenly, and works quickly. It looks nice on the kitchen counter and is easy to clean. Great quality for the price. Very happy with this purchase!

Got my toaster today, and I was very impressed with it. One thing I love about it. It is the same color as the new cookware that I just got. Looks really nice. I order it on Sunday and it arrived quickly today.

To begin, I have to say that this toaster is very basic, and I am glad I only paid $20 for it. For the price, one shouldn't have great expectations for a toaster - but I did think that it might be better than what it is. Don't get me wrong, if you are looking for a toaster that just toasts regular size bread (like the square size of wonder bread or something) then it would probably work just fine for you. I typically buy good quality bread like Dave's or Oroweat Multi Grain that are more rectangular in shape, and the slots are just a bit too short for the slices to fit - so I have to push the slices down after the lever is engaged. I wouldn't expect a toaster in this price range to have a sensing mechanism that would allow it to toast evenly, and this one doesn't. It seems stuck on the bagel setting, which one side inevitably comes out darker than the other. Depending on the bread that I buy I have to adjust the timer accordingly, which is expected. The feature works well and is consistent when keeping it at the same setting and using the same bread. It is useable, though I wish that I would have spent a bit more for a better-quality toaster. I am giving it four stars because it does toast and would probably suit someone who uses the more inexpensive "square shaped" bread or smaller slice bread. Just doesn't work well for the more rectangular types of bread.

Purchased 01/08/2026 Been toasting regular bread, cinnamon bread, and english muffins all month and this has worked great! It's a cheap toaster that does the job! If I only get 5 years of use out of it, I'd be fine with that.

Toasts my toast just fine. You've been making toasters for awhile now. So Im glad to say, you've definitely made a fine toaster at a decent price.

The Proctor Silex 2-slice toaster (verified Amazon purchase) was a nightmare. Stay away. But this replacement seems to have what I expect. The eject is easy, the slices are toasted evenly... The other toaster toasted one side better (fine if you're in England) and went nuclear hot on the next toasting; the toast caught fire. Will see if the HB lasts. Many toasters don't.

Nice looking. Very slow to toast and when done the sides are uneven. Would not buy another.

Super light, easy to use. if bread is small, has nifty extra lift (~ half inch or so) to manually pop up further to grab piece. Wide, but has inside clamp like mechanism that holds bread whatever the width (nice for self slicing bread, not always equal). Like the thaw feature. overall nicely engineered…except the cord is toward the mid-front not in the back (strange place), so tend to use toaster sideways…thus four star. For me, it’s a good choice for toaster.

It is a 2 slice toaster. It does have wide slots that fits bagels or even texas toast quite well. It does toast things with electric heat elements. It won't bring you joy or fulfillment, thats what bread and butter are for.

It works well, but there was strong smell of plastic when first turned on. I assumed it might be that way as most appliances seem to rarely be tested or cleaned in advance. After about 10 minutes, the plastic smell went away. The toaster worked well, like a toaster been using for a week now.
