Beautiful illustrations/ coffee table book .

Has great photos of lots of different art of Wain I've never seen on the internet. Would be a great gift for an art or cat lover.

I have gifted this book to friends and tonight I just bought another copy, an extra copy for myself. I adore Louis Wain. For years there were just a few tiny books on Louis Wain. This big book does not disappoint. I am an artist painter with very little in common with artist Nick Cave, who has endorsed this book, except that we both adore Louis Wain.

This is a wonderful book for any cat lover. Louis Wain’s work is fascinating in that it varies from realistic through anthropomorphic to surreal. This book focuses on Wain’s art. To learn more about the man himself and his rather tragic life, watch The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, the recent Amazon Prime movie. If you buy this book, avoid the Kindle edition. I first purchased it and found it’s erratic with the Kindle app on my iPad. It sometimes fails to display an entire page or image and often freezes. The Kindle app on my iMac does not support the zoom function. The displayed text is quite small and difficult to read—even on a 27” iMac display. I’m much happier with the hardcover book.

This book is a treat for people who enjoy pictures of cats!

Fascinating movie and so had to order the book. It is a big, heavy book. The kind you lay on your coffee table and take one page at a time. Tons of pictures and wonderful information about the man. Very glad I got it and think it would make a great book for grandparents to share with little grandkids too.

La versión en papel es un auténtico tesoro.La de Kindle, como han dicho en otras opiniones, no se puede ampliar, con lo que no se puede leer el texto ni ver bien las imágenes. Se puede comprobar que es así descargándose una muestra. No comprendo cómo comercializan una cosa así...
