I love this sewing machine. So lightweight and easy to operate.

I was desperate for a sewing machine now, with a very limited budget. I know Janome is a good brand, so I thought I'd take a chance on it. Especially because I could buy it with 3 payments.It arrived in 2 days. I threaded it and had a problem that I was able to resolve. It doesn't seem to like cotton thread. It kept breaking. I changed the thread to polyester thread, which I have plenty of, and it sews beautiful!I have been able to sew for hours with no issues until my bobbin runs out, lol!I did find the light too dim, so I purchased this light strip and resolved that issue.I'm ecstatic with my little sewing machine. I don't need anything but a straight stitch for quilting. This is perfect for me. I highly recommend it. A Very Satisfied Customer!!!

I love my janome! It’s easy to use, work with, and it’s cute! It’s a pretty decent size and it’s not to heavy where it makes it a stationary sewing machine!

I've been sewing for 40+ years, and I own several machines including a serger, a computerized Janome, and now this sweet little machine. I bought it to use for repairs and small sewing projects at my partner's home, because I didn't want to drag my machine back and forth. I've already used it for several projects and am impressed with its sturdiness and ease of operation. It sews well and has a nice variety of stitches. It's definitely a keeper. I noticed some reviews mention it seems a bit noisy, but it's a mechanical machine--- not computerized, so the working components will be more noticeable. Couldn't be happier with it.

I was very disappointed. I wanted a lighter weight machine and this one fit but it was defective from the beginning. The thread became tangled around the inside somehow. I would sew a little then the thread would break. Rethreaded and it did it again. Looking with a flashlight I could see the thread wrapping around some inside part I could not get to. Frustrating. I returned it. I own other Janome machines and love them. So just bad quality control.

Bought for transporting and using in quilting class. Does a great job. Wish it came with an appropriate bag for travel (shopping bag) but alas I have extra!

I own several sewing machines and this Janome is the Best machine I have ever owned for simple stitches lite for travel and class. Sews beautiful stitches every time.
