These flashlights are handy. They have a variety of functions:1. Standard flashlight2. A work light3. A flashing red row of LED lights.They are handy for illuminating work areas.They are inexpensive and they do have a sturdy plastic case with a magnet at the back of the flashlight. I purchased three of them. They are not quite as durable as some other flashlights, however they are good work lights. There are three modes of operation:1.Standard small LED flashlight2.Work light with white LEDs3.Blinking RED LEDS for road hazzards.They are sold in three packs. Best of all, they are sold at a very good price point.

Love the magnet on the bottom. Change batteries often enough or will rust inside.

I received these lights around Feb 1, 2022. I was looking to flood some light onto my 3D printer head as it was printing the first layer of print, or in general checking the progress of my prints. It could store vertically on the metal bracket under the cabinet, an arm's-reach away at my 3D printing desk. The magnet wasn't super strong but holds it in place till I'm ready to use it. These light worked perfectly for this job. Since I only needed one flash light for my 3D printing area, I decided to put the other 2 flashlights to use in my truck and my 4Runner.Last week, I got a call from my business partner saying we needed to repackage a shipping container. After arriving, neither of us thought about what tools wee needed and was thankful I had this small flashlight as a backup. I was very pleased with the light-output from this unit. It did a good job (not amazing) of lighting up an area which was very dark. While the light worked fine, the magnet was not strong at all. It could not hold itself up horizontally to the side of the container. It fell to the floor, about a 5 foot drop. I picked it up and it worked fine, however the magnet broke off. Bummer... We continued repacking this shipping container and again the flashlight fell from a 4 foot height. This time the battery cover opened up and the batteries came out. Now, the light began to randomly flicker. We used it the rest of the evening, but finally position my 4Runner in front to illuminate the.Yes I abused this one-of-three flashlights. I know they were only 10 bucks for 3 of them. They will work great for light-duty jobs (my 3D printing needs) as expected. Be careful tho, as they may not survive a use-case where they get banged around. They definitely do not qualify as a rugged work-light. I have another flash light I'll place in my 4Runner and probably won't be buying these again.

Just received them and based on some of the negative reviews I immediately tested all three lights. The good news is they all work as promised and the the LED lights are bright. Now the problem - in one of the lights the battery compartment is so snug that the battery I put in (3 AAAs are required) will not slide out. I have tried to coax it out but no luck. As I mentioned the light works but I don't think I will ever be able to replace the batteries when they die or leak. That one is now essentially now a disposable light.To comment on the quality. They are plastic and they are light. They are textured for better grip but they are not very substantial. The magnet at the base works and is fairly strong. Be realistic, at these prices for three flashlights you aren't going to get machined aluminum. These will never be your primary flashlight that you want to count on at crunch time. You can use them when you walk your dog, give them to kids or folks during a blackout, keep them in the guest room, or pack them when you travel.For the price they are worth it.

I bought a set of three to use for myself and and my wife (both cars and my Harley). They are well put together and well packaged--they do NOT look like the cheap Chinese crap we usually see. They function extremely well and the red flashing "strobe" band is great as an emergency warning beacon. The base magnet is strong enough to stick on a vertical surface without falling, and great when working in a tight space. Remember that the original ones that came out a few years ago cost upwards of $40 each and were big, clunky things--and I honestly thought that was a good deal at the time! Well, my daughter and son-in-law wanted one, and I thought that for two of my close friends they would be perfect small "stocking stuffer" gifts. Small, thoughtful items like these, which really cost very little, are practical and useful, and are nice reminders to your friends and family that you were thinking of them. To make a short story long, I have re-ordered a couple of times and I'm about to gift my 12th of these great flashlights in the next week or so. BTW, I have no financial interest or special deal on these; as a matter of fact, the first two boxes were for $7.99/box and the last two are $9.99/box. I don't care--great flashlight, great gift idea , great price!

These flashlights are very bright, especially the emergency red light! They run on AA batteries (rechargeable is recommended). There's a button to click from regular light to emergency red light. I keep one in my car and a few in the house for power outages.

Perfect. Some are too top heavy so that when you use the magnetic base, it topples over. But even with the 3AAA inside it stays horizontal. Exactly what I was looking for. Rest of family going to be buying more now.
