This ND filter is pretty good. For its price you can't expect it to be perfect. It well and has an ample range of light filtration. Although, at its darker settings, it tends to black a lot of light except for UV so this tends to make pictures look purple if you stop down at max with this filter. Thankfully, adding a UV filter fixes but then you're adding more glass and potentially reducing IQ. Again, for the price, you can't beat this deal. I would still highly recommend it.

Decent build, but unusable. Polarized glass creates a zig zag artifact in corners of image.

Griffin Hammond suggested these bad boys. It works, I like it, I can use wider apertures in broad daylight for softer backgrounds! Great tool!

Works most of the time. At the extreme darkest, it causes distortion and is basically unusable. Lower settings works fine.

The fader is ok until you darken it too much. In that case, it produces a hideous cross in the picture and you get different levels of exposure in your frame, which looks really odd. So if you use it, do not expect to darken more than half way. Would recommend non-adjustable NDs for strong exposure reduction.

Il filtro è arrivato dentro la scatolina plastica rigida che vedete anche in foto senza nessun sigillo , riposta in una busta di carta evidentemente preparata dal venditore.Appena tolto il filtro che vagava nella confezione, visto che al suo interno non'ha nessuna forma di protezione /spugnette o cose del genere, ho subito controllato lo stato dell'oggetto e mentre maneggiavo il filtro ho subito sentito rumore di tipo meccanico.In pratica il vetro esterno non era fissato alla ghiera ed al minimo movimento si muoveva liberamente con il rischio anche di graffi e rotture ai bordi.Usando , con molta attenzione , uno stuzzicadenti in legno per non danneggiare ghiera e vetro in caso di urto ... ho provveduto ad avvitare il contro anello filettato per stringere il vetro del polarizzatore esterno.In questo modo il complesso è tornato ad essere funzionante e stabile ma nel fare questa procedura ho dovuto provvedere a riallineare lo stesso per far si che il valore di apertura sulla ghiera esterna corrispondesse in grandi linee con il punto di riferimento.In effetti il fatto di aver trovato uno dei vetri "liberi" ha implicato anche la staratura della scala graduata.La ghiera meccanica sembra girare agevolmente ma la qualità del prodotto è mediocre e non consiglio questo oggetto, sebbene il costo sia relativamente basso, a nessuno ...La filettatura del filtro, quella che si caletta sull'ottica, oltre tutto non'è in perfetto stato molto probabilmente perchè il filtro è stato "sballottato" nella confezione che al suo interno non'ha nessuna forma di fissaggio e/o protezione.Se volete spendere poco per fare una prova con un filtro ND variabile vi consiglio di prendere in considerazione altri prodotti.Questa la mia recensione del prodotto.
