Is this daylight color

They only go on at night and yes they are bright white. They need to be in direct sun to charge or they are not goin to work. I’m having an issue with that now

Once the back panel has been removed...how do you take the battery out to replace without damaging the leads??

These run on one basic solar battery sold at any home store. Look in their solar light sections you'll see them. I simply removed the old dead battery by taking the wires off each end of the battery. Then I used black electrical tape to hold my wires back on my new battery. Wrap it tight to get a good connection. Hey don't laugh it was easy and its been working perfect almost a month...lol One could take the time to solder an actual battery holder in place like it should have had to swap the battery out easier but my lights appear this 2nd battery will easily outlast my solar panel so I didn't bother wasting my time/solder on it. FYI- "Never" solder on a battery, it will most likely explode from the heat.
