Great build quality, but unfortunately does not fit PoE hat
I purchased this along with 8 sets of RasPi 4 with a PoE+ from waveshare in hopes to have a slick, clean rack mount install straight into my PoE switch (with room to expand further if I ever felt it could be beneficial).I was highly disappointed after ordering everything and waiting for it all to arrive only to find out this rackmoint does not properly fit a RasPi with a hat that has expansion pins for more hats. The expansion pins shove into the Pi next to it, and would be going through the board to be installed next to it. I tried alternating the orientation (69) to see if that could suffice, however the pins still hit the opposing RasPi PoE hat (which is obviously not good).Right now my only solutions are:- Trim/remove the expansion pins so they are no longer in the way, sacrificing the chance to ever expand on top of the PoE hats (probably never will, but I would have to take this into account).- Find an alternative hat altogether with shorter/no expansion pins.- Find an alternate rackmount that properly fits the Pis.- Waste some space by shifting the gap between each Pi to be wider, assuming I can mount consistently this way (already know I can't and there would be wide/narrow gaps every so often).- Ditch the PoE hat altogether and scramble some power supply setup, sacrificing remote PoE cycling to power cycle the Pi.- Get a PoE split adapter and make a really tacky looking installation. The price point seemed rather steep, but if the mount is reliable and long lasting, it can serve better than ones that may break or wear over time. Just wish it mentioned that expansion pins would be problematic.
