Spore Creatures - Nintendo DS (Creature)

We were looking for a good creative game for our daughter who just turned 8. I saw this game which seemed like it had promise. My daughter loves it. She tends not to be a direction reader, but was still able to figure out by trial and error most of what she had to do. My guess is that people more familiar with these sort of games will catch on to the interface even more quickly. There were a few frustrating bits that took a quick look to the instructions to understand, but once cleared up were no problem. Overall, seems well designed, leaves plenty of room for creativity, and seems especially well suited to those in between children that want a bit of adventure, maybe aren't interested in dolls, but still like some social interaction between the characters. ( even if some of it isn't all that friendly ( one of her characters ate another one by accident ).Our daughter loves the game and would play it much more than we allow.

Amazing game. Seeing the pristine packaging (even though it was used) brought me back to my childhood.

Ahahaha, Spore Creatures. It's a pretty adictive game, I have to admit. I'm an artist, so the whole design concept is like "ohh, braingasm". I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to design their own creatures and is pretty into sci-fi. The graphics are pretty cute and entertaining, if not a little annoying at times, but the fun and entertainment of the game makes up for it. I give it four out of five stars.

the game itself had a nice little story but the graphics were to be a little desired. the game play was interesting but i could not seem to wrap my head around the kind of 2 dimensional character in a 3d world. the original spore for pc was a great game. this however would be something a little more suited for children of young ages. I give it three stars because the rest of the game is not so bad. very customize-able characters and kind of addicting once you get past the graphics that is.

My 14 year old grandson says this is a good game for the Nintendo DS. We have reviewed it for the Wii and a computer...and decided that this would be the best way to get used to this game...with the DS. He likes the game and says it is a good one.

My granddaughter asked for a spores video game. There are many versions for different devices. This was the wrong version for a wrong device. Traded it in at a used video game store. Didn't get much for it.

I was a little worried that my 12 year old grandchild would not like this and would think it was too young for him, but he loved it! I do not think a young one like my 3 year old could play this. The variety of games on it keeps them occupied.It is fun and challenges them.

Was a gift. They liked it. Nothing else to say about it other than to fill in text for the review.

Played it since I was 9 yrs old, feeling like back to my childhoods now.
