Demon Podium Full Face Mountain Bike Helmet with Green Viper MTB Goggles

Surprisingly comfortable, breathable helmet, with fantastic goggles. I wear it mountain biking for two reasons... 1) full head and face protection and 2) anti-fog goggles to keep my eyes from drying out in the cold and to keep mud, dust, and debris out.The helmet is fairly lightweight, comfortable and secure. Now, if you are mountain biking in 65 + degree F temps, it won't be cool, but it is remarkably breathable. In the cold it helps keep a fair amount of wind off your face and head with the goggles on... a bandana / neck gaitor complete cold weather head gear well. I have not had the goggles fog up yet.

Great buy. I actually love this helmet. I have a full carbon Fox helmet as well cause I'm a gear junky. Bought this one just to have an extra, but I feel like this one is just as comfortable as the fox, looks great, and was a fraction of the cost. I kinda wish i'd just bought this before I spent $400 on the Fox carbon one... but oh well, it is a sweet helmet too. You can probably see in the picture that I am also wearing the Demon Knee/Shin guards. By far the best purchase I ever made. I was so impressed with the shin guards I decided to try out this helmet when it went on sale. Those shin guards are by far the best purchase I've ever made. I paid the extra money and got the D30 version,even though I didn't know what it was at the time. Worth every penny. I have had some nasty wipe outs on them and they have worked every bit as good as my old hard plastic ones. I have since done some research on D30 and the stuff is money. A little heavier than the traditional foam in most of my other pads, but I can feel the difference in these when I wipe out. From what I understand, they line the D30 with kevlar, and I have put them through the ringer for a couple years now and they are still going strong. I even through mine in my front load washing machine (even though the instructions say not to) and they still hold up. I'm excited to try some more products from this company. Impressive so far...
