MagniPros 2X Magnifying Bar Magnifier Ruler with Guide Line(so You Won't Miss a line) Ideal for Reading Small Prints and Document

I had my doubts about this since I know that 2x magnification isn't a lot. But, I also knew that more than 2x causes distortion, and the reviews of other bars with higher magnification revealed that it was an issue. Alas, I was not disappointed and am very pleased. This is perfect for any sized book. Small enough to use on a 6" book, but can be used on large ones as well. You'll have to move it sideways across the page in books larger than 10", but it slides effortlessly. The magnification is perfect and clear with no wiggling and jiggling the bar around (like the old thermometers you had to hold at just the right angle to read the numbers). The size enables you to sit in a chair and read with the book leaning forward because it's easy to hold the bar on the page. The best reading, though, is with the book on a flat surface, untouched, meaning you have to be sitting or standing high enough above the book to look down on it. Since we purchased this for reading small print in large theological books, it's perfect. Works great for other books with small print, too. Planning on getting the longer one for the big books and blueprints so there's no fighting over this one. Great purchase!

This magnifier is a really good product. I just got it delivered this morning; took it to work, and used it on a report printout which has lines of text going down each page. Magnification is more than adequate, and the yellow highlighter line is a bonus.

My eyes get very tired at night and using this really helps. My only complaint is the light I use to read is reflected in the glass of the ruler which causes a strong glare that disables me from reading some of the words, unless I move the light away from the book, which then makes reading more difficult. My light is overhead. This, of course, only happens at night. Reading during the day, with natural light should not create this problem or if the artificial light is on the side of your reading material and not directly overhead.

Perfect for lining up crafts pattern for keeping track of where you are. Wish i had found it years ago

The warning message on the bottom of Tesla Model X is too small to read. This magnifier works nicely.

I am disappointed. The magnifier bar does not make the print appear as large as I was expecting.

Bought this for my wife as she has trouble with fine print and often with the print sizes of some books. I looked at many devices for reading, but could not find any that did not have to be held up off the page to work, a rather tiring practice if reading for any length of time. But this magnifier bar lays right on the page, and this makes it hugely convenient and effortless to use. The magnification rate is listed at 2X, but it appears more like 3X in actuality. Whatever the rate, my wife loves it and enjoys reading much more now. This is a quality device, and a great value for the price. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this because my mom had one long ago and I tried my hand at cross stitch recently It does magnify the pattern as well as hold your spot . It's lightweight and comes with a protective sleeve.
