I purchased a used snowblower that worked fine, but the starter didn't work. I took it apart and it was badly corroded inside. Apparently the previous owner never used the starter. This one fit perfectly, but te coard is longer than needed. A couple of zip ties is all it needed. Very happy with it!

Pretty much just that -- two small head phillips screws take off the starter button, 2 10mm bolts remove the starter. This bolts right in and fit perfectly. The power cord is longer than the original but it's tidy and out of the way. Installed and tested inside of 5 minutes.Not that the motor drive gear won't line up with the engine gear, there's a 1" space. When the motor spins up it'll move the engage, like a transmission gear.There are no instructions in the box but it really couldn't be much simpler.Note that the replaecement doesn't have the screws or bolts, so carefully save the original ones. They look tricky to replace.

It was easy to install works great

Bolted right on. The cord is longer, but it is zip tied into a loop. I took apart the original starter which had seized and found that water leaked into the starter housing where the cord enters the housing and rusted things solid. I am going to silicone seal where the cord enters the housing on the new starter just to be safe.

Installed with 2 bolts and worked perfect. Quality was excellent. Fit my Powermore engine and no more pulling the rope.

Working great on Ariens Sno-Tek 24E snowblower. I bought this snowblower used during summer and the pull by hand cord does not work other than electric start. Well, winter time I used twice then stop working working, no click when press electric start. Let it sit for over a month, start again nothing just dead. Therefore, I bought this starter completed set hoping to get our snowblower working again.After installed, our snowblower fire up again. One thing in mind, wish its came with 2 forehead small screws (picture) which installed the small piece and 2 other socket screws (picture) to installed the starter because mine aren't that good anymore especially the 2 forehead screws.

Put in fitted like the old one, started right away.
