This rod makes it feel very spacious inside the tub/shower and my regular liner and shower curtain work perfectly. Definitely follow the instructions for an easy install. It looks great and without a center connection, the curtain zips along easily. The mounting hardware was all that was needed to anchor it securely.

I was overall quite pleased with this shower rod. The curved rod really does add a surprising amount of space to the tub. This went up in about 40 minutes for me - I needed to cut down the ends (as specified in the directions) to make it fit, so I used the cutting blade on my handheld rotary tool to take about a half inch off each end.The mounts were easy to install once I'd removed my old shower bar. I had no problems with the instructions - I found 1/4" to be the correct size hole for the included mollybolts, which worked just as they normally do. The mounts have a whole number of positions for screws to fit through, making it easy to line up as much as possible with your old mounting. I was able to use two old holes (in studs) and made one new hole for a mollybolt to hold each one in place. The decorative ends slip easily over the mounts.My only real complaint would be that the decorative ends don't fit as snugly as pictured with the bar, presumably because of the way it's curved and the way they have to clip over the wall mounts. It's not conspicuous, but a tighter fit would have been more attractive.For the price, though, I would definitely recommend this as a simple, fast upgrade to a dated bathroom.

It works for us! We just bought a house that has a more narrow shower/bath and I wanted it to feel more wide and open on the inside. I looked at a LOT of different models and decided on this one for 2 major reasons:1. Many others I looked at left disappointed customers because people said they quickly rusted. Here, someone specifically asked in the questions if they have issues with rust and it was a solid no. I've had it for about a month now and haven't seen any rust. So far so good! It also looks really nice in the bathroom. I always have found curved rods to look classier than their straight counterparts.2. My boyfriend didn't want a "bump" in the rod. Some other are adjustable, but that also means a small pipe fits into a bigger one, leaving that annoying ridge that your shower curtain rings can't ever seem to jump over. This one is completely smooth from end to end.The installation was fairly easy and took about 10-15 minutes._______________________________________________________I posted the original (above) review well over a year ago and am happy to report that it's still in great condition, I haven't had any issues, and there has been zero rust. :)

The straight shower rod in the kid’s bath was getting a tiny bit rusty, so I replaced it with this one. This rod fits perfectly in my 5’ wide shower. There are little tubes on each end, so this rod should fit if your shower is an inch or two larger than 5’.It was easy to install. Since I was replacing an old rod, I didn’t need to drill new holes into the wall. The install, including transferring the shower curtain, only took 15 minutes.(I think getting a non-adjustable rod, like this one, is a nice touch. If I had bought an adjustable rod, then there would be a lip in the middle of the rod that the shower curtain rings would catch on.)The curved shower rod provides an extra 6 inches of elbow room, which my kids really like. They claim it makes it feel a bit like a slightly upscale hotel. Even though the bathroom is small, no one has complained about decreased space outside the bath.Lastly, the rod looks very nice! It matches the brushed nickel features in the bath.Pros:Looks great.Extra elbow room in the shower.Easy to install in 5’ shower.Non-adjustable, which means curtain rings will not catchCons: none!

The reviews that touched on installation were super helpful. The instructions are simple. I had to drill holes through porcelain tile. You need a special drill bit for that sort of thing. You start drilling on an angle until you can burrow into the hole directly. Had to stop and put the drill bit in water to keep it cook, and empty out the dust.I cut a bit more than an inch off the rod so it would fit. The instuctions on how much to cut off are fairly accurate.After the drilling, the install went super smooth. I love having a seamless rod. I love having curved rod as it provides more elbow room in the shower. I love the look of the rod. Very happy with the quality, function, and look of the rod.

This was one of the more reasonably priced rods I had found and after reading reviews, I decided to go for it. This is the best shower curtain rod I've ever had. Install was a little tricky as it was the first time I (and my Dad) had ever had to drill through tile before. With a masonry bit and brute strength, my Dad was able to get the holes created. As first timers, we hadn't considered leaving enough space for the end caps when we marked our holes to drill so rather than create more holes and move it up, we're just going to sand down the end caps to fit at the top of the shower since it's just a smidgen too short. Learn from our mistake! Otherwise, its a beautiful product and will last a very long time. A cost effective and simple way to make your bathroom feel like a luxurious hotel bathroom. Definitely recommend!

The quality is superb. Took me all of 10 minutes to install by myself. Strong and sturdy. Looks great. Very happy and would buy again.

I like the shower curtain rod. It looks nice and doesn't have that bump in the middle that adjustable rods have. It does wiggle about 1" up and down but is still very sturdy otherwise. Nobody but me is ever going in to my bathroom to wiggle the rod so no big deal.Installation was easy even though I had to cut the bar 1" shorter as per the instructions. One note. The wall mount brackets have a black finish on them that easily rubs off on to your painted wall. I'm a little annoyed that I had to touch up my recently painted walls. Do yourself a favour and apply masking tape to the back of the brackets to prevent this. Good quality hardware is included in the kit.I'd definitely buy another one of these rods in the future.

Fortunately we didn't have the size issues some had, so the installation was quick. This is very nice upgrade from your standard tension rod. It really gives a lux touch to the bathroom in addition to giving you more shower space. Very good quality hardware included. I would say it's worth the extra money. I'm looking forward to never having my shower curtain unexpectedly fall down again because the tension releases on the rod 😂
