While this is a strong tasting product, a tablespoon provides 5 grams of protein. Which means that 2 tablespoons provides 10 grams, just one gram shy of a full 8-ounce cup of yogurt. I'm going to be trying different ways to tame the tang, because for the price, it's a lot cheaper than other protein products. And it's convenient, too.

Love everything Hoosier Hills makes and sells. Their products are really great for like where there's only two of us. I can reconstitute just enough to use. No waste. I love it! Hoosier Hills definately gets the granny seal of approval!

Like all powered milk products I tried it doesn't taste like the real thing. My first try was a Lassi-type drink just the powder and water, then add ginger, cinnamon and salt. It's hard to explain but while it does have nice tangy taste of yogurt it also has an off taste that even those spices didn't overcome.When I make my protein drink I use this yogurt powder, Hoosier's powered whole milk, a soy based protein powder, and a flavor of the day. This adds a nice tang and more protein with 30-50 calories. I like it.So my recommendation is to use it as an addition to other flavors to add the yogurt tang but don't expect it to stand on its own.

I love the HHF Yogurt powder. It works well in gluten free breads, along with lemon juice & milk it creates a nice sourdough flavor. It also mixes well with the HHF Cream Cheese & a pudding mix to make a cheesecake pudding.

I was expecting yogurt flavor.. but disappointed.. It has baby milk formula taste and little salty when it gets thicker. It does not dissolve well in the water or liquid. I tried to make smoothie with this but this powder dose not blend with milk/ water and i could see many lumps floating inside blender. so i did was mix small amount of water/milk and many spoons of powder could make very thick yogurt but taste was salty so i had to pour syrup in it. If you mix small amount of powder with liquid, you can see lump/powder floating around without dissolve.

Just like their butter, sour cream, clear gel, peanut butter, all of their cheeses and all their other products, this stuff is great.

I like the concept of dried yogurt, but this has WAY TOO MUCH sugar in it per serving (1-tablespoon). I started using to thicken up my smoothies in the morning only since it contains sugar. If I have a smoothie in the evening, I don't use it; I just use Coconut Milk Powder.

Honestly it just does not get any better than this product! Perfect for all of my recipes!
