Rubie's Nickelodeon Dora the Explorer Boots Baby/Toddler Costume, Toddler

I ordered the 12-24 months size for my 12 month old - oops! I should have ordered down because it was HUGE on her. But... it was too late to exchange and my 3 year old (who wears a 3T) fell in love with this boots costume. The day before Halloween, she decided she didn't want to be Dora anymore... she wanted to be boots and wear this costume! It actually fit her and she's tall.... so keep that in mind when choosing a size for this costume! A 2T would have fit her better, but a 3T would have been huge. Her favorite part of this costume was the tail... she liked wiggling her butt and making the tail swing. The hat was loose and she was readjusting it all night, which was super annoying and she eventually took it off. I think it would have stayed on better if I had put a beanie on underneath it so that it had something to grab onto and not slide around on her head. So keep that tip in mind. I washed it and air dried it and it still looks great. As for my 12 month old, she ended up wearing a cheetah print dress that she had in her closet and I took a black eyeliner pencil and gave her a nose and whiskers and said she was "baby jaguar" from the Dora show. At least I had something to improvise with!

Got this for $7. Our daughter loves Dora and Boots. You don't find costumes like this out in the stores. Not sure if this is even legit licensed, but whatever, I'm the consumer, damnit!The 1-2 year old size fit our 2 year quite well, and she is a bit smaller than most. Was a little more room for a bigger kid, but might be too small if you've got a bigger than average 2 year old.Quality is pretty thin felt-like material, but it gets the job done. You toddler is only gonna wear this once or twice, for a few hours. Do you really need something super high quality?Every parent knew who she was when we were trick or treating. She knew who she was too. She loved it, we loved it. Halloween was a success and convenient. $7, folks.

Perfect fit ,my grandson is average size 2 year old and it fit him great. Kept him warm, easy on and off even with clothing under it.

Cute but be careful when washing the head piece is very fragile and will come apart. Good for Halloween. A bit expensive for material

So my hefty 3-year old really wanted to be Boots for Halloween.It was either this or a very expensive custom Boots costume. It worked great. The top part and head fit fine. We cut at the crotch and made a tunic out of it and bought a pair of red sweatpants. He loved it, he looked like Boots, we didn't spend a lot of money.

Cute costume but the hat is a little small.

I loved everything but the shoe straps. They constantly came undone but other than that it was great and my son loved it.

Absolutely the cutest costume and fits good. It’s a great costume as it’s not common to find Boots the monkey in stores.
