Wow - Most Pleased.
Sister has given permission for my nephew to have his first knife. I was struggling between this one (3-1/4") and the full size Stockman (4"). I think it's a little small, and if it were for me, I'd rather have the full size. But I have to remember it's for smaller hands. This is exactly what I had envisioned when I heard "first knife + Christmas". I can imagine Tom Sawyer or Huck Finn with the same classic styling. The workmanship is exquisite - perfectly fitted scales. No sanding marks. I am really glad I purchased this and I am sure the recipient will be pleased. It will be as much at home in the woods with a ten-year-old boy, as in a gentleman's suit pocket.

Very nice and great value
While I have bought a number of Case knives in the past, this was the first Boker. The quality of the Case knives is always hit or miss. The Boker seems well-made. The side rivets are not perfectly flush, but everything fits and works well. The blades are slightly thinner then what would be on a comparably sized Case knife, but they are not flimsy. The blades are also sharpened nicely, as compared to the Case knives that are coarse ground at best and always require sharpening. Overall, I am impressed and will clearly consider a Broker over a Case going forward.

Nice little gentleman's knife
It has the beautiful fit and finish that you'd expect from a German made folder. Opening the blade is glassy smooth without even applying any oil. One thing to note on this one though is the blades are super thin, thinner than any slipjoint knife I have, and I have a pretty good collection of them. They're razor sharp right out of the box, though and they're good for whittling, which is what I mainly use them for. If you plan to do anything more heavy duty than that you're going to need something more substantial, though.

Boker German Quality !
The knife is excellent in materials and finish. The two smaller blades are quite thin, and not remotely heavy duty. The large blade is heavier and quite adequate for a knife this size. It is stamped D2 and evident to the superior strength D2 tool steel. The blade edge geometry is excellent on all three blades. Lifetime warranty and the Entire knife is made in Germany with excellent German craftsmanship. After purchasing two Case knives with inferior blades of questionable origin, I'll stay with Boker brand for some time.

Fantastic steel
The absolute best knife I have ever owned. My father and grandfather used Boker knives and said the steel in them was the best which was a big complement from my grandfather since he made knives during the depression. They grew up in a time in which a good knife was an essential part of life.I purchased my first Boker knife when I was about 19 years old and used it for many years(I'm 62 now)until I lost it.I had not seen one in stores and assumed they weren't made any more then I saw them on Amazon and purchased one.Same great steel.Sharpens easily and holds a good edge better than any knife I have ever owned.I am 100% pleased with my new Boker knife.

Razor sharp and not scary
I love carrying a pocket knife, like my kershaw with the open assist however...when you whip that sucker out to cut something...i.e. at work...in the office....you may draw a few looks, so this knife is the answer to that problem. No one will mistakenly think that you are out to attack them with this puppy, but it is extremely sharp out of the box and with the high carbon steel blade it should be easy to keep that same edge on it. The size of the knife is perfect to fit into the "coin" pocket of jeans, or the same pocket found in the bottom of some hand pockets of slacks. I'm somewhat lazy when it comes to sharpening knives and that is why I like this 3 blade knife over some of the other single or double blade pocket knives of similar size.
