Good company, comes out the box like other companies should be doing.
Runs great, is super silent even with max fans. Seems to maintain temp well. Has a 2k display wich is aswome, but i recommend anyone who is stationary to get a 27inch 2k monitor, 17inch is small for serios gaming but good enough if your always on the move and need a gaming system that has it all. I mean you get what you pay for 2.3k aint cheap. It has a cool sleeper look wich i love, doesnt scream gamer. Its made of like a hard plastic, i liked tge metal finish and build on my helios preditor 300 better, but this has better internals so im fine with thaf. Also to mention anythibg you need you speak straight with the makers themselvs unlike big companies that may conect you to people who dont know about specifics these guys are aswome at helping. Just give em a call! Also doesnt have a bunch of startup softwares, there clean and i love it.Laptop comes with liquad metal on cpu wich is aswome.Overall im happy, wish these setups didnt cost so much but w/e big boy toys!

3-4 Stars
Machine is nice, it's super lightweight, but the display appears to have some color issues, and because of backlight bleeding it does not get anywhere near a true black. The specs are powerful I chose to get the one with the 3080 and it runs well, although if you attempt to do any overclocking even minor, I get a lot of frequent crashes and application errors so I just have to run it at stock.Overall it does it's job and is a good price point for the specs, but it has several issues which brings it score down a bit causing me to not be 100% satisfied but the hassle of trying to return it isn't worth waiting 2-4 weeks for a refund so I can get another computer.

Power and Value In A Small 17 Inch Form Factor
Only had this for 24 hours but I will say it was everything I thought it would be. Coming from a 2020 model razer blade pro I wanted something with a bit more power and a 1440p screen and this delivered.Overclocks quite well and the 1440p screen is nice. Has a bit of IPS flow (more than I’d like) but for the price I can hardly complain. It’s not noticeable when using it in normal circumstances. I’ve played cyberpunk 2077 on it with good frame rates and high settings @ 1440p. The 10875h cpu is a champ for gaming and all you really need if that’s all your going for.The feel of it does feel quite premium and I like the keyboard. Some reviews noted the sound is terrible, but it’s average as most gaming laptops aren’t known for their amazing speakers.

Try to wait for a sale
I bought the RTX 3080 with Ryzen 5900HX version. It came with a small capacity 512 GB NVME and 16 GB DDR4 3200 RAM. I came to with the approach that the CPU and GPU can't be upgraded but the storage and memory can. I will say, this computer is blazing fast. I ran a 3DMark test (Time Spy) and it matched one of my desktop PCs with a Ryzen 3800X and a Geforce RTX 2080 nearly exactly. It's nice having desktop level power in a laptop package for travel. The 1440p FreeSync screen as another bonus.I already upgraded the RAM to 32 GB and the storage to 2x 2TB NVME. The only performance complaint I have is that I have had random crashes after about an hour of gaming. I'm going to run some tests later to see if it's a memory or GPU instability.A warning to anyone planning on upgrading their storage and/or RAM. Eluktronics decided to add plastic clips to the edge of their bottom casing. So this can make it problematic getting the cover off especially around the hinges. You definitely need to invest in a plastic pry tool if you don't already have one. The hinge covers do not get held down by a screw so if those break, you will have exposed hinges and led lights. Also, my second NVME SSD disappears after a few hours. It requires a full shutdown in order to get it back.WIth Eluktronics, my experience is that you get minimal support in the form of updated BIOS or drivers. I mean, with as cheap as they sell their machines compared to the competition, I suppose support would be the trade off. The reason I mention this is that if there's bugs in the BIOS, don't expect them to get fixed. I've had three Eluktronics laptops and only saw one BIOS update in the last four years of ownership. So just brace yourself if your new to the brand. With that said, please know that their person to person customer support is top notch. They don't treat their customers like n00bs which is nice for a change. If you really need a performance laptop right away like I did, this is a solid buy. If the screen pwm hadn't failed on my current Eluktronics, I'd have waited for a better price...which in my case would've been two days later at a certain Eggish competitor's store. About a $300 price difference which is enough to get you better RAM and storage. Even though I love the laptop, I am definitely upset that I was within days of a sale and didn't know it. Just make sure you do your research and check other stores regularly as Eluktronics direct sells on multiple store outlets like this one here and they don't discount equally across stores for the exact same product.

I got the souped-up one
Outstanding machine especially for the money. Two small criticisms are that there is only 1 speaker and it is very meh, and that it’s not a metal case (but this would have definitely raised the price). The QHD screen is very good but not amazing, has a bit of bleed, oh well... at least the 165hz refresh rate is nice! Cooling works well and is fairly silent. The battery life is also meh, but fortunately I see this more as a mobile desktop substitute (you can always tweak the settings to make it more of a mobile workstation). Two advantages if you plan to run Linux on it: 1) I heard it’s trivial to install 2) since I have both Radeon onboard video as well as a Geforce 3080, I can use the very new Nvidia GPU passthrough for Windows VM’s in VMWare (which I have yet to try but this would be my personal ideal situation)

Best Deal on a RTX 3070 full power Laptop Gaming PC
great gaming laptop, great screen(1440p), 3rd gaming laptop I have purchased from Eluktronics(still have one other sold the other one-they are very well built systems overall)no complaints, for the money and having the MUX(dedicated GPU option in bios by hitting delete until it comes up at startup) switch its a no-brainer that this is what you should get if you need a new gaming rig in 2021 especially with the shortage going on.
