Replaced an old pop up plug with this one. The unit itself is solid. And the pop-up mechanism works great. It seals tightly and there's no issue with water draining when the plug is closed. Dropped in perfectly with no difficult "installation ".

I was intimidated by some negative reviews, so I was initially afraid to buy it. Then I decided to do it because why not? Plus I can just return it if I don't like it.1) Easy installation. There are two sized rubber covers that you can use to line underneath the sink stopper. I just slipped it on top and have been using it since.2) Looks classy. Elevated my sad sink aesthetic significantly. And it looks so much better + works so much better3) Easy to use. I just press down, and it stops the water. I press down again to release the water. Very friendly, even for my boomer parents.4) One thing to note, is that a bit of water will still get drained. It doesn't stop 100% of the water if you close the stopper, but I think that's just a given. So I don't really mind it as much. I had low expectations because my previous OG sink stopper did not work at all, and trapped all the water, where it was really gross. I was so relieved when I bought and popped this in.It's more like an easy fix to a problem I had, but not necessarily some bougie sink stopper. IMO still looks nice :)

One of those sinks where you pull up on a metal lever in the middle, and it lowers the drain. Of course it broke, and the drain was stuck down. I had to pry it out and toss it. That made a black hole for things like the toothpaste cap to get sucked out of clumsy fingers. Also made shaving an issue, as it's much easier to clear the blade when there's water in the sink to swish it through. This piece here alleviated both problems in one easy and affordable fix. Holds water in the basin, and drains it just fine, and if there's whiskers floating in the water, I just pull the Kruggo stopper out to give them a clear path. It is not affixed in any way, you merely drop it in the hole with an included rubber gasket, and pulls right out. If the stopper were to get clogged, cleaning it would be as easy as running it under water. I measured to get the correct size, and it fit my drain perfectly. I can't really ask for anything more.

3 gaskets are included. I used the bigger gasket at first and it leaked. But I switched to the smaller one and then it worked great. No leaks. Did someone design the hideous Osprey adjustable razor to look like this sink stopper? LOL!

Looks great, easy to install and holds water well. The problem is it looses its appeal when water sits on the chrome and gets water stain outlines. It also caused water to sit at the edge and discolored the sink where the small puddle sits.

The mechanism to my very old pop-up sink stopper became rusted, broke off and I was left with the stopper stuck in the down position, so I had to remove it. This product was the perfect solution to prevent things from accidentally falling down the drain and having to buy a new faucet and a plumber's bill. It was extremely easy to install and after trying which of the included silicone washers worked best for my sink, the water drains completely. I can fill the sink with water when needed and can easily drain it by pressing the button. It also is easily removed and as a bonus catches stray hairs.

Comes in a small package with only one item to decide on, which rubber gasket will be best for your sink.I installed the mid-sized gasket. Worked perfectly. Great suction and no leakage. However, because of the gasket the plug sat a little higher in the sink than is desirable. This caused for a puddle to form in the bottom of the sink that would not evacuate because now the stopper sits higher in the sink. I removed the gasket and no more puddle.We don't often fill the sink with water so this won't be a problem for us. On the odd occasion that we do a little seapage will be ok and if really necessary I can add the gasket.
