This is the second BELPRO harness we have used for our pug-mix. The first one is over 2 years old and still going strong, but he has literally gone through every type of nature hazard possible and it is beginning to smell a little. Once you find the right length for the harness clips it fits perfectly and is so easy to put on and take off. The reason we tried this brand is because it stated it was much more difficult to get out this harness than normal 2 strap harnesses. Our dog Coconut had escaped multiple times from our first couple of harnesses and it did not matter how tight we made them. Since strapping this harness on he has had 0 breakouts or breakaways. I don't usually write reviews, but I really like this product and it is durable and easy to use. I really like the teal color that I chose and chose the same color the second time. It reflects at night and it is wonderful to carry him around. Everyone we know calls our dog "Suitcase" because I am always picking him up and carrying him around. Great quality, Great look and Great price.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a mixed bully who has the broadest neck and chest with a tiny waist. Everything I’ve tried so far either hasn’t fit properly and/or she manages to escape from. I can’t speak for how long this harness holds up because I haven’t had it too long, but it is truly escape proof! It seems well made from what I can tell. While the buckles are plastic, they have a heavy-duty feel to them. The harness feels secure and is adjustable in ways that allows you to really form it snuggly to the body in various areas. I’m highly impressed and I’ve been through my fair share of these… If you have been struggling like me to find something reliable and ESCAPE PROOF, definitely give this a shot. My dog is about 55 pounds and I ordered an XL. Again, her waist is tiny in comparison to the rest of her body and I was still able to adjust that area to fit her smaller waist. BUY THIS.

This fits my dog, but it's the 3rd harness I got for her that she can escape from in under a min. Even if it's so tight, it squeezes her sides in. I can't afford yet another harness that doesn't work. She's a husky-beagle terrier mix, so her 'Houdini' side is to be expected.Thankfully the return policy on Amazon is forgiving, but even if they give me trouble, this harness comes with a year warranty for returns and general wear-n-tear. With that said, it's a shame this didn't work. I like the warranty, and it looked hella sleek on my pup.I will also say, to the credit of the manufacturer, that I loved how adjustable it was. I can see this style of harness fitting to nearly every dog body-type, which for the price of most harnesses, I wish every company would do when making them.

This is a well made, good quality harness. We have a very active pup and she is able to slip the lighter harness in a wink of an eye. She is a rescue with lots of strength and energy! This harness seems to settle her down - almost like it is security for her - no more tugging and backing out.

The media could not be loaded.  My dear Rambo is around 8lbs and is 14 years old. (Chihuahua) He’s my elderly dog, but you wouldn’t know he was elderly. He’s very spry and likes to worm his way out of things. I’ve owned and tried 5-6 different halters to no avail. He has backed out of every one of them, scaring me to death!I want to be very detailed in this review due to the fact, I know there must be a lot of dog parents, such as myself, that have had a scare or 2 when their baby has gotten loose. In the halters from Walmart, and regular pet stores, the Mediums are normally a tad loose, and smalls were too tight. He would still slip out of the ones that were too tight. THIS brand however runs very big! I ordered a small based on the reviews and it was still way too big on the smallest setting. Unfortunately this brand didn’t sell XS. The only other brand that sold his size, we’re $55! I just couldn’t pay that much for one so I improvised with this one.I have uploaded some pics so you can see what I did. I pinched and cinched the harness strap and took a heavy duty hair tie and wrapped it super tight around the strap, until it was tight enough. It’s on there really tight. It’s just temporary until I can sew it by hand with some heavy duty thread.He looks very uncomfortable so it’s nothing I could just leave on him. I just put it on him when he goes outside. We live in a neighborhood that has HOA fees and one of the rules is no fencing. I really hate tying a dog out, but we really have no other choice. You may be able to leave this on a larger dog with no problems.It’s such a relief to be able to let him out to sun himself, which he loves to do, and not have to worry about him getting hit by a car!!

My dog seems comfortable in this harness and it looks good. It feels weighty and sturdy, but it's already starting to fray at the top attachment clip after three months. Maybe this is a normal thing, but it seems like it should last longer without fraying. This harness is much better at keeping my dog from slipping out than a harness without the extra strap, but my dog did slip this one time. I find that if you attach a sturdy carabiner clip to a front attachment loop and then to a collar that extra measure has kept my dog from slipping out. My dog isn't a chewer, though, she just pulls back and slips out. Since adding the collar and carabiner to this harness she has not escaped. I had to attach a key ring to the ring inside the front triangular piece to be able to attach the carabiner. Which brings me to my biggest complaint about this harness is that there is no front attachment clip. My dog pulls and I need a front clip. I would buy this harness again if they added a front metal clip, but if they don't add one I'll have to buy a different harness. I hope this helps fellow escape artist dog owners.

Finally found a harness that fits after going through countless. My dog is a cocker spaniel and long in the body, not the best on the lead so needed something that was sturdy, fits well without having to adjust all the straps and is comfortable. Ticks all the boxes!

La mia golden retriever di 15 anni (29 kg) con problemi di artrosi, necessità di un sostegno "più concreto" durante le passeggiate ed ho finalmente trovato l'articolo giusto per lei. Il materiale è robusto, ed il colore (rosa) molto piacevole, è facile da infilare e la maniglia è super utile, lei si sente più sicura, io posso aiutarla nel salire/scendere le scale e ad alzarsi. Abbiamo preso la XL. Le fasce tutte con imbottitura e facilmente regolabili, non comprimono la pancia, e per chi è interessato alla taglia, ma poggiano sulla cassa toracica. La fascia triangolare anteriore è un'ottima soluzione per non comprimere il collo nel caso la debba sollevare. Il cane anziano, come tutti gli anziani, cammina lentamente e il fatto che questa pettorina sia riflettente, è un'ottima soluzione soprattutto quando si attraversano le strade. Arrivata puntualmente :-)
