BroadLink Smart Button, 3 Way Switch Control with IFTTT and Alexa Routines for Home Automation, Wireless Trigger Smart Home Devices and Scenes (Smart Button + Hub)

It looks like that in making miniature electronics, the companies are cutting cost such that they're printing the accompanying quick start guide in micro size text that has to be read with a magnifier. I searched the Play store for so called 'BroadLink' app as mentioned in the manual but there was no such thing!! There are at least 5 similar named apps and you have no way to determine which is the real app. The link on 'official' website points to .apk file which may harm your phone.This indicates the product is cheap, has not been tested and thoroughly reviewed. Instead of spending time looking for help topics etc, better stay away from cheap manufacturers like this who don't even know how to write a proper accompanying product manual.

When I received this, it looked as if the box had already been opened, and I couldn't pair the switch without first resetting it. Perhaps someone else already paired it and then returned it?I can see why they would return it, as the switch really doesn't work very well. It seems to 'go to sleep' after a short while, at which point the button presses don't do anything. The switch continues to show as being online in the broadlink app, but the button presses do not appear in the device history. To be fair (if that's what you want to call it...), the device also shows as online when you take the batteries out, so it might just be the broadlink app/service that is a bit rubbish.Rapidly pressing buttons for about 10 seconds seems to bring the device back to life. Having to do that several times a day is obviously a poor user experience, so I'm definitely staying away from this brand from now on.

The button installed easily, and integrated with Alexa without difficulties. Would be better if the buttons were multi function ie. Click, click and hold, double click. But one click one function.The price however is excellent, so you get what you pay for, the equivalent buttons elsewhere would cost £80

Dopo diverse settimane posso fornire una recensione completa di questo articolo.Per prima cosa, fate attenzione perchè questo annuncio non specifica da nessuna parte che non è presente L hub necessario per utilizzarlo. E non è nemmeno possibile acquistarlo separatamente.Ho dovuto comprare il kit con il sensore di movimento per avere il piccolo Hub bianco necessario. Il venditore mi ha fatto un piccolo sconto per venirmi incontro. Quindi controllate bene se l'inserzione è con o senza hub.I tasti una volta impostati tramite la skill su alexa funzionano molto bene e avviano le routine velocemente e in maniera molto rapida. Peccato però, ( ATTENZIONE ) che costantemente e a intervalli di tempo variabile il dispositivo si disconnette e non funziona piu. Bisogna cancellarlo e associarlo nuovamente ogni volta.Ho contattato l'assistenza, che dopo circa 3 giorni mi ha mandato una mail spiegandomi il motivo.Per farla breve ( non sono molto esperto ma ho capito come rimediare ) il dispositivo per un risparmio di batteria disattiva la connessione, nel momento della riconnessione il router assegnava ai tasti un canale diverso dall hub precedentemente impostato. Questo comportava il malfunzionamento. Per risolvere il problema dovete entrare nelle configurazioni del modem e impostare un canale fisso,in questo modo non si disconnette. Potrebbe essere necessario associare l ip del dispositivo in maniera manuale, ma nel mio caso non è stato necessario.Nell' insieme posso dare 3 stelle.Da una parte il dispositivo funziona molto bene ed è davvero utile, dall'altra però venderlo senza hub e non specificare come risolvere il problema della disconnessione ne fa perdere due.Aumento a 4 stelle la recensione, a distanza di mesi, e dopo aver configurato il router con canale fisso, i tasti funzionano perfettamente e sono molto comodi nella esecuzione di routine di alexa.

Requires a hub that doesn’t come with it and can’t be purchased separately without buying in a light switch bundle apparently. I already have the Rm4 pro, rm4 mini and the mini 3 hubs and none of those work with this button… why?! I don’t even care how well it may or may not function at this point, for how much I’ve already invested in their other hubs and for it not to be compatible with any of them… to me it’s just not worth the hassle or the money at this point, it’s getting returned.

Ho ordinato 3 di questi set. Il hub non ha funzionato sul primo, così ho ordinato un secondo set. Anche lì il hub non ha funzionato. Così ho scritto al supporto clienti per chiedere se potevano mandarmi un nuovo hub. L'assistenza clienti mi ha risposto che non potevano, così ne ho ordinato un terzo. Il terzo hub ha funzionato, ma quando ho cercato di aggiungere qualcosa, ha detto solo Errore, l'hub deve essere sullo stesso Wi-Fi del pulsante. Il problema: c'è solo un Wi-Fi qui ed è solo in 2.4GhZ e non è male. Quindi, per favore, non compratelo.
