Good investment for body
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I and my husband keep going to the gym in our university every day for three years. However, we moved to a big city recently. I did the research about the gym on market near us. The price is much higher and canceling the membership is always a headache thing. What important is that we are really tired of driving to gyms after work every day...In fact, we have given up working out over three months. I caught up like 8 pounds and belly fat shows up! So awful and I can't bear with this anymore!! I made this decision to set up a home gym! Now, We get back to work out so easily. I think this power rack is a good choice for several reasons: It has multiple functions, we can exercise our chest, back, and arm with it. Besides this rack, I purchased some other tools I need for my routines, an Olympic bar of 6 feet, weight bench and plates. For home, I think all of these are enough. It is easy to install and we just spend two hours. But it is heavy so put a mat can protect your hardwood floor. Besides, The power rack is very solid, I notice some bars are made of solid steel, not just a tube. My husband likes to begin a day with some pull-up, this higher outer bar is very suitable. This is a good one you can find for the similar price point. It not as perfect as the ones you saw in a gym. But it is enough, affordable and saves room. My favorite reason is that it brings fitness as easy as watching TV at our house. The service is nice too! I don't notice this power rack will come in two packages but there is only one tracing number inputted, so I thought there might be some parts missing and contact Amazon. The seller solves my problem very efficiently. I think this investment is a very wise one. It really saves our time and money, keep us living in a healthy way. One little suggestion is about the maneuver. It already shows sounded detail about installation, how about adding some instruction about functions.

Great power rack! Shady business principles...
Assembly took about 2 and a half hours alone. I've helped a friend assemble his before so I took my so that there would no sway when finished. Excellent for anyone starting to lift or improve on their strength without the worry of injuring yourself. With the cable system, the only thing that had a slight drawback was the lack of lubricant. My first workout was extremely difficult until I wiped it down with a silicon lubricant (used for rowing machines) and problem solved. Also, I would love if there was a purchaseable add on to hold your legs when doing heavy lat pull downs. Not a deal breaker since I can always prop a 45lb plate on my legs to keep my self from lifting off the bench. Overall, great rack to meet your needs.Update 12/27/19I was called by a representative from this company to write a review and that would send a pair of J-Hooks in return. Fast forward a month and nothing. I was going to write a positive review regardless before I was asked to write a review. So I'm taking off 1 star for shady business practice.

Works for most home gyms
I got this in MUCH sooner than I had expected. I had to get my flooring set up the way I wanted before I could start the assembly. That being said, the two boxes sat in my basement for about a week before I tackled the assembly. The assembly went relatively smoothly. All the pieces were there and they didn't go crazy with the multiple sizes of bolts. You'll need two 17 mm wrenches or one wrench and a socket. Only other tool you'll need is a hex wrench to secure the sleeves (where the plates are loaded) on the pulley system. I'm not sure why size because I haven't tightened them, yet.Assembly took about 3 hours by myself. I would recommend having an extra set of hands at crucial times if the assembly, just to make things easier. The cage is pretty much what I expected as far as a home gym setup. I'm not going for PR's at this stage of the game, so I expected there was going to be a little wobble in this cage when I bought it. Pulleys are pretty much what I was expecting, as well.Bottom line is that this is a relatively solid power cage for most home gym applications. If you want higher quality (and American made), you'll have to pay up.

Decent value for the money
Arrived faster than stated. Works as expected. I love the ease of adjusting the weight catches and the stop bars to catch the weights. I'm 265 and the pull up bar and dip bars hold me with no problem. Everything seems durable enough after a few uses. Quick assembly using a drill with a socket attachment and wrench, just remember not to over tighten. I over tightened the clips that hold the pulley wheels causing them to bend in and apply pressure to the pulley wheels, but that was my fault. The assembly instructions could have been a little better. The reason for the low rating is because it is extremely shaky when racking heavy weight. It needs a way to mount to the floor and/or wall to prevent the shakiness when racking weights, doing pull ups, etc... I picked this over the heavier duty one from the local sporting goods store that was the same price because of the pulleys being included on this unit, but then found pulleys on Amazon that can be attached to any cage (if I had known about these, I would have gone with the heavier duty unit). All things considered, this is a decent value for the money, but there are better options for just a little more money.Update: Changed to 5 stars for great customer service.
