Fighting Conviction: A Brother's Best Friend Romantic Suspense (Conviction Series Book Two)

Eh
Honestly there wasn’t enough spice for me. They only did it once and it was such a slowburn up to it just for it to be pretty short unfortunately. Had high hopes for this book but was kind a let down. I feel like there was more focus on the investigation then Devil and Ellie which made me want to skip so many pages because I just wanted to read about the development of their relationship. For how old Ellie is she sure is one naive girl… why would you allow yourself to fall asleep in a “treehouse” and not have a secured transportation home. Overall took me too long to read it for not even enjoying it in the end.

Food for thought
Do you believe in ghosts? This is not a typical romance, and the names of the lovers resonate with it. They went through hell to find some semblance of heaven, and they had the help of angels, wether real or just in their heads.I felt involved and afraid, I got really invested. So many situations to make you wonder "what would I do?" We all suffer loss and pain in life, but some things are so tragic and unfair that I damn well hope they will some day never happen again. Getting in the head of victims of abuse - be it of drugs, physical abuse or violence made me feel so ignorant and helpless.A good writer, the author imagined an interesting setting, with a lot of potential for the next books in the series, which I will definitely want to read.

Must read!!!!
Wow! This is a GREAT addition to the conviction series! Devil and Ellie are everything!! Ellie (Jason’s sister ) she works hard to be a survivor and make the most out of life ..Devils a hardened broken man who thinks he’s too old, jaded, friends with her brother. Doesn’t think he’s good enough but not is he wrong. He’s perfect for Ellie and she’s his light in the darkness. The author is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.. her stories flow, have great steamy scenes and a HEA. Highly recommend!! Can’t wait for book 3!!

A little bit of Suspense, a little bit of Spice, and a lot of everything nice!!!
Greer did it again y'all!!!I loved Jason and Jules but Dev and Ellie stole my heart and ran away with it. Ellie's I'm a survivor not a victim mentality is a breath of fresh air. She leans on Dev but still wants to fight her own fight. And Dev is there for her but let's her fight her demons without trying to do it all for her.Greer is a master of taking the spice(which I think she stepped up this books and I loved it) and blending it seamlessly with the mystery that interconnects the entire series. Both makes your heart race!!!

Another great novel!
I loved getting to follow Ellie and Devil's story. I loved this one even more than the last book by Greer. I loved getting to watch Ellie grow into a strong woman after everything she went through in the first book. It proved that she truly was a survivor. I also loved the character development from everyone else that was in the first book. It definitely left me excited for the third book. The only thing I didn't like was how far away the next book is!

Absolutly fantastic and well written
I found this author from TikTok and wow! I am in love with both her writing style and characters. I got both books and read the other first and glad I did. I love the dynamic of the relationships outside of the particular books main characters. I want to give so much to this review but don't want to spoil the book for others. All I can say is buy it - buy it right now, grab some coffee and stay up late to read it.

liked the storyline - hated the writing style
Definitely liked the plot. Did not enjoy the style the book was in. It was as if someone was telling a story but it could just be me. My favorite part of this book was when finding out that there were cameras in the gym and his team had watched and deleted the feed. Also, everyone knowing he loved her except for her brother and her.Honestly, just the style of how the book was written was the only downside to this book.

AMAZING
I INHALED this book. I fell in love with Ellie and dev so quickly. And you can tell the author has done her research with how she writes Ellie’s character, it adds a whole extra layer of respect and appreciation to this book. I would highly recommend this series

Good read
Good read. Had potential to be a great read. Some timeline inconsistencies and a couple character issues. Like Naomi. Her character was strange to be suddenly so involved in supposed classified recon and such. She conveniently knew too much in my opinion. Otherwise loved the development between Ellie and Devil.
