This Ukulele is sweet.

The media could not be loaded. I apologize for the recording quality- I was using my webcam, not my recording mic, nor was my Uke plugged into my DAW. That being said-This is my second concert Uke. I've had it since November of '22 and it's now currently Feb of '23 which gave me some time to experience the Henna Dragon and develop a true and informed opinion. I Bought the Henna Concert Uke wanting something that had solid craftsmanship, was made from real wood (not pressed wood cheapo stuff), had the ability to plug in and record without a microphone and this uke checked all those boxes. The Henna dragon feels solid and hearty in your hands. The slotted headstock looks super cool and string adjusters work well but are the open type and can be difficult to dial in for beginners when tuning. The inlays on the fretboard look amazing with the portrayal of the moon cycle and to make chords easy to locate, they're also installed along the side of the fretboard so you can quickly glance to plot out your next chord rather than stare at the top of the fretboard which would create unnecessary movement to see during transitions along the board or through chords. Unplugged, this dragon breathes fire! The solid mahogany allows for an amazing tone that really sings, especially among the higher notes. Plugged in it sounds excellent and when ran through a DAW for recording, it sounds absolutely phenomenal. The preamp does an excellent job of transferring a crisp and clean sound to your cable so hopefully you have a decent cable otherwise you will experience signal deterioration through the cable itself. Reminder- The unit in Henna Dragon is a preamp, not an amplifier- you will need a powered amp to plug in to if you want to hear through a speaker OR you can plug into an interface that's then plugged into your laptop or desktop. If that rig is too pricey for your budget Then Behringer makes an exceptionally good "large jack to usb" cable which you can get here from amazon for just thirty bucks allows you to eliminate the need for an interface, but you'll have less sound options. HOWEVER- the on board tuner that is part of the preamp is absolute junk. Do not rely on the onboard tuner for your string tuning needs. It will read sharp, flat or even entirely different notes on perfectly tuned strings, verified by multiple other tuners. When tuned with it's onboard tuner, you're guaranteed to send even the hardest of hearing running for the hills in horror. Luna- if you fix that tuner issue, this dragon would be a 100% 5 star winner. While I am largely satisfied in this piece of working art that garners a LOT of attention... due to the atrocity that is the onboard tuner, The Henna Dragon is sitting at 4 stars.

It's awesome. It has sharp fret ends probably due to storage. It can be fixed and is totally worth it the rest of the way around. It may need a setup/adjustments to the nut and saddle. The one we received has high action at the nut so it is not for beginners or anyone without a strong grip until it's set up differently. Overall it is worth it.This Concert Uke SINGS!

I was very pleased with this ukulele however the bag it came in has no padding whatsoever. very cheap bag so I have to order another one or find one somewhere to protect it . Why would you sell some thing that’s more expensive than a lower line but not provide a bag as good or better than the bag that comes with a lower end ukulele?
