KNOWLEDGE ENCYCLOPEDIA (DKYR) Paperback

I bought this as I was looking for a new encyclopaedia and i came across this one, I absolutely love it! It has pictures and is well presented so you won’t get bored reading it. I have learnt a lot of new facts from this book! Five stars

As an adult I'd like it more detailed but then it would have to be a really thick book. It gives the overall info but I don't find it a useful study tool. I bought for my daughter to encourage learning but find it doesn't cover enough but as a pick up, interesting book then yes worth having.

As children we were poor. I was so excited when my dad brought home two old junk shop encyclopedias. These were the only such books I had access to until going to school.I kept reading them for years. Modern ones have amazing pictures - it is our world...

Surprisingly good

I bought this for my intellectual fact-loving 6 year old nephew for Christmas. I haven't given it him yet but I have been enjoying it myself. I wish books were like this when I was at school. There are amazing visuals and illustrations to get lost in - so this would be ideal for a visual learner or young child. I image this book won't be suitable for all 6 year olds if they aren't intellectually inclined. I'm more artistically inclined and thought this book was great at my 33 years of age!

I got this within two days, I ordered it for myself because I had a DK children's encyclopaedia as a child. I currently spend way too much time on my phone/social media so treated myself to nice illustrated educational book. The book is thick (about (2 inches) ! So there's so many topics from Space to Ancient Egypt and it's compacted with equal text and illustrations/diagrams. I love it, it's really easy to follow and it's clear too.

The book is well written. Lots of great illustrations and photographs. It is clear and easy to use. My children love reading through this book and discovering new and wonderful things. A must have for any family home
