So easy to use and perfect for the job of bulb planting. A well made, strong piece of equipment at a very competitive price. Couldn't be more pleased with it!

I find it difficult to bend and dig so would highly recommend this product, it made planting bulbs so much easier, also a Fast Service.

I initially gave this five stars but noted I was still waiting to find out how long it is guaranteed for. Fiskars have got back to me to tell me the guarantee is 2 years. Similarly priced products from their three main competitors are guaranteed for 10 years, 15 years, and lifetime. I have reduced the rating to 2 stars, the guarantee is totally inadequate and had I known this I would not have bought it.ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOWA really excellent bulb planter, the ability to release the soil into the hole it came from is particularly good and is normally only found in smaller hand-held planters.It feels very sturdy and I expect it to last for many years (although I am still trying to find out how long it is guaranteed for, I messaged the seller but a few days on no answer...).I used it to plant a few hundred bulbs in the lawn, it took less than 3 hours. The only thing faster is an auger, but you can't use that in the lawn as it destroys the grass where it digs the hole.

I should have bought it long time ago. It would have save me so much time planting tulips and daffodils

Too heavy for a lady

I bought this several weeks ago but have only started to use it in the last 2 weeks as bulb plantimg season is now. I had hoped that it would enable me to plant my large number of bulbs without getting backache.Although it is sturdily built I have found it very time consuming to use, half the time the bulb doesn't drop out as it should & when the planter is withdrawn from the soil instead of leaving the bulb in tyhe hole it is stuck in the tube. My soil is good & there should be no reason why it doesn't work but it doesn't!! What a waste of £75

Very disappointed with this product.I bought this for my 86 year old father so he could plant bulbs without kneeling.The handle broke after 5 minutes. As you can see in the photo.The soil continuously got stuck in the tube as did the bulbs. Took us longer to get the soil out of the tube than to plant the bulbs by hand.At £60 with postage I would say buy a trowel and a kneeling pad dont waste your money.

Not good for planting in grass. It's not sharp at all. Useless in any soil with stones in it. Only good in loose or sandy soil. Use an auger instead.
