Bengoo G9700 Headset ReviewHello User, you ever had a headset that hurts after a long period of use or ear cups annoying your ears especially in those heated moments of gaming…Then look no further because the G9700 is the headset for you.Feel:• When you put this headset on the first thing, you’ll notice is the feel of the memory foam earcups and headband around your head. The headset doesn’t apply pressure upon wearing it and it’s a nice fit.• Since the earcups are bigger and the headset being adjustable to fit your head in every way…it makes wearing the headset feel good and comfortable every time you put it on upon hours and hours of usage.Design:• The design of the G9700 looks good and feels good. It has a white matte finish to outline the headset and has a black glossy finish for the exterior of the earcups. The design kind of reminds me of how the PS5 looks lol.• The LED’s of this headset is white and they complement the overall design and BENGOO’s logo of the headset really well. Also, the mic has a white LED as well.• The mic controls are located along the cable with a unique design so it doesn’t feel bulky or interfere with your gamer moments or general use. The controller has a volume slider, LED on/off switch, and a mute mic switch.• The mic is flexible meaning you can control where the mic should be for better audio quality of picking up your voice and your voice being clear to others when in use. The only thing I sort of dislike with the mic is it’s always in your face because of how the headset is designed but after using the headset for a few days I’ve gotten used to it now.Sound:• It has 3D surround sound where you feel emerged in what you’re listening to. The sound quality really balances out each individual sound in order to make the 3D effect of the sound going through the headset.• You really do hear the impact of each defining sound which immerses you in the mood of gaming, listening to music, and etcetera to make each experience of using the G9700 unique.• Since the earcups fit around the ear completely there are no dips in sound quality or audio quality, it’s almost like the earcups themselves are noise canceling lol…that’s how good they are.Conclusion:In conclusion the G9700 headset is a change of pace from prior headsets BENGOO have created. The design of the headset make it have a different personality sort of speak from others. From the over the ear – earcups, the way the LED’s are presented/used, the location of the controller, and the mic itself allows it to stand apart from others giving it that feeling of being satisfied with your purchase. Overall, I enjoyed my time with the headset and will never get tired of the over the ear-earcups and that feeling of this was a good purchase.

These headphones are one of the best on the market.Sound:The sound is crystal clear. Whether I am listening to hip hop or gaming, the beat is incredible. The sound quality is amazing. I play a lot of first person shooting games and these headphones are amazing at listening to even little noises, such as other player's foot steps. I did not expect the sound to be this great. The sound is comparable to more expensive headphone brands, such as Razer or Sennheiser. I also like that you can control volume via a scroll (see pic)Microphone:I use the mic when I play online games and this is great compliment to the quality of the mic, no one thought that I was using a headset. The microphone does not have any background noise and my voice is clear to others. Also, if there is background noise, no one seemed to notice it. Basically, this microphone is amazing! You can also toggle mic on/off with a switch.Noise Cancellation:The headphones fit nicely for my head and they are adjustable. My ears fit nicely and the padding around it cancels all the background noise. On top of that, they feel great wearing them.Looks:These headphones really look cool. The white LED in a darker room looks slick. I have lots of other LED lights in my room and as a gamer, you really appreciate cool looking headphones that fit with other gaming tools. You can also toggle light on/off.Price:The price is unbeatable. For the quality you get, these headphones are a must buy! You can expect similar headphones to easily run over $200! I highly recommend buying these for you gaming, work, conferences or anything in between.

They are good for the price. But zero volume amplification, and they are just plain stereo. No surround or simulated surround. For the volume, you have to put your computer volume at 100% and have the in-line (on the cable) volume control all the way up. Only major thing they need to improve on is the placement of the in-line controls. At 18 inches it snags on everything, and is hard to find without looking. It's way too low. You stand up from your desk and the headset gets yanked off your head! And when you are too busy looking at the screen, you have to fumble down the cable until you find it. They need to put it at no more than 6-8 inches down the cable from the earpad. That way it's just below your neckline, and is easier to find and doesn't snag. Also, the lights are absolutely useless. They're not bright enough to put some light on your keyboard or controls when you turn the lights out. Not sure what they are for other than to look cool. But who's going to be looking at your headset? If you are by yourself, they are pointless. If you are in a gamer cafe, everyone else is looking at their own screens. So yeah, useless. Only thing that is awesome about them is that they are incredibly comfortable. The earpads are big enough to not cause any fatigue, especially if you have medium to large sized ears. And the speakers are far enough out to not be touching your ears.
