So much better than a hand reel!
Can't believe I haven't gotten one of these before, so easy to use. My only complaint is that it says 5/8", and it does measure 5/8", but my old hose was 5/8" and it is significantly larger than this one. So a little less water flow than I'm used to, but worth it for the easy of reeling it up.

Lasted 2 years took inside during winter
Highly dissatisfied with this for how much I paid. Bought 2 of these and one hardly gets used so that one’s fine but main one lasted 2 years. started leaking at 1 year but now the entire hose won’t retract. Not worth the money. Hose is completely rolled out and won’t retract, inner springs must be broke.

Where can I get replacement part or a warranty replacement? The hose guide broke!
My reel is only one year old. Is this warranted? Where can I get replacement part or a warranty replacement? The hose guide broke! Can I get a replacement?Update 11/28/22: Immediately after I posted my questions the vendor replied to my post and informed me they will be sending me a new one! They are very responsive, very prompt, and very professional! Today they contacted me again with the delivery tracking number from UPS. Extremely Happy with this purchase!!

Not bad for the money so long as you follow the manufacturers instructions to a tee
Overall this works reasonably well. As highlighted by some other reviewers the pressure of the hose is not quite the same as some other standard non-roll up hose but gets the job done. I did have an issue with the retract mechanism which stopped working after just over a week and the hose stuck out about 5 feet and wouldn’t go all the way back in even after a lot of fiddling. I was about to return it but after reading the Q&As I found out you need to be sure to be allow the hose to empty the water out for it to go back in all the way and that seemed to do the trick. Long story short, this product isn’t bad for the money so long as you use it exactly as the manufacturer specified.

Very Nice
I had another brand for two years. Two of them, what I learned is don't over extend them. Meaning don't pull them out the full distance. I would say this is true of any brand. One unit is fine after two years, the second, that I often pulled to far, stopped retracting. This unit has a clunk sound and I have not got the move down to retract. It takes me a few pullsI got the 100 foot unit, knowing I will not go further than 75ft. Hopefully this lasts longer. If you can't stand wrangling garden hose, this is for you. So much faster and easier. I use it everyday for a very short period. Just washing down artificial turf where our dogs do their business, after picking up any solid waste. So it gets pulled out run and put back daily.I will let you know how it holds up10/24/2021

Very solid construction - good performance
I was concerned that the 1/2" hose would provide too little water pressure, but have found that it is quite adequate for the principal way I use the hose - watering plants. The 120 foot hose allows me to reach all areas of my yard and it retracts to store very nicely.I read some reviews of this and similar reels where people talked about it retracting too fast, and I can see that if someone started it and let it retract unattended that might be the case, but I found that if I let the hose retract through my hand I can easily keep the speed to a reasonable level. I have had NO problems with it.I had also read where people asked about mounting it to a house with vinyl siding. As you may be able to see in my photo, I created a "post" from treated 2x6 lumber that fastened to the foundation block below the siding. This has worked very well.

Hose is cheap, housing is poorly made.
Wow, at first this worked great, then about 7 weeks after installing it, the case started to leak, fine ok. Then right after that about 6 inches from the hose connection it sprouted a leak in the cheap hose. Odd as my older different company version, never leaked and this is not even 2 months old and it is leaking in 2 places.Return started and now after 3 weeks of the newer hose reel it also leaks in the exact place in the housing and now the hose also has 2 different leaks that makes it impossible to water without getting soaked.Tried to return it and was told I am out of my return window, so now I am stuck with this cheap, leaking mess...STAY AWAY as there are much better alternative, be warned!!April 2024 update:Was able to exchange it and it worked wonderfully for the 2023 season but I just took it out of storage for the 2024 season and low and behold, it has a small leak from the housing case, hope this will last this season, again, be warned this is far from quality 2 hose reels and 2 leaks.....🙄

$100 a year? Not worth it.
This only lasted 2 years. This piece broke and I can't find where to contact the seller or find a replacement piece anywhere. I would prefer to replace the part instead of buy a new hose set up. It worked great while it lasted.
