Biometric Trigger Lock for Pistols Gun Lock Fingerprint Quick Release Gun Trigger Lock for Handguns Revolvers

The CENXIGO Biometric Trigger Lock was not quite what I was expecting, but after working with it on both a Glock 19 Gen 5 and VDI M-4 trigger, came to really like it. For a pistol, the lock is a bit bulky to use with a holders, but is perfect in a range bag. Although the product description said it was pistols, it worked well on an M-4 trigger, and I could see purchasing another when storing it in a rack. It has both a key lock as well as the fingerprint/biometric reader. It charges easily through a USB port and can read up to 10 different prints. What is also a nice feature is that the lock can be flipped to support a lefties or righties. What I was not expecting with the trigger lock was that when unlocking it, was the force with which the two parts separate and drop-off, but found this could be extremely useful in an unwanted situation to allow quick access to the trigger. While I have seen better trigger lock solutions for use on pistols being stored in a holster (although cumbersome to undo in an unwanted situation), this lock definitely has a place when storing a pistol in a rack, range bag, and/or nightstand.

This doesn't really work with the model of guns I have, I had no way of knowing, but maybe I can use it for another type or rifle

Bought this lock for additional safety when my grandkids are at home. My handgun is always ready for emergencies (that hopefully never happen), and the least thing I want that it falls in the hand of children (with or without safety). This trigger lock is doing the trick, it blocks the entire trigger portion of the gun and it only can be opened with the key or with the fingerprint, which works like a charm. It was very easy to set up, following the instructions in the video for which a link is provided. The lock was delivered very quickly and so far, it is working very well. It easily snaps into the locking position and just as easy it is to open it; my handgun is ready within a couple of seconds. Great lock, a 5-star rating well-deserved.

So I've had this since May of 2023. I've given it an honest try but ultimately it's not for me and I cannot recommend this product. Now, if you want your gun locked, it'll do. However, if you want to unlock your gun in any sort of lifesaving measure, you might as well just surrender. This has failed unlocking on me, to many times to count. If on the off chance it does open, it still holds your gun as if it's locked. Now you can shake it and 5/10 times it'll shake loose after unlocking but, it really is hit or miss. If you like having long nails, forget it. This will not unlock properly. Your fingerprint has to match up exactly every time. Another thing is if its not properly placed it has the potential to drop your mag out. Oh also, the beep for unlocking and trying to unlock is very noticeable. Especially in a quiet environment and it beeps every single time you unlock or fail to unlock. So if you're trying to unlock multiple times until it unlocks, it'll beep and beep, and beep, then it does the special beep and the you hear the motor unlocking, and if you get to unlock it but let's say it's in your bag or you're trying to one hand unlock it, it'll still keep your gun locked until you pull or shake it off. Meaning you will have to unlock it again if you don't get it off in the initial unlock time frame.

My wife bought me this trigger lock because I like to leave my sidearm on my nightstand without a case for it. I have been meaning to get a case for it, but didn’t like the thought of opening a case to pull my gun out. I also wanted something that was biometric, and this was just that.Setup of your fingerprint is really simple, but be sure to get every angle possible. I had a couple of times where my finger wouldn’t register.I wouldn’t use this for concealed or open carry, as you should only use this for inside you home. For the price it beats paying ~$100 for a gun case.

Had issues setting the admin fingerprint which is necessary for others in the family to access the gun. Without the admin, the lock is not useful to me. Had two locks. Experienced same issue with both. No phone or email to contact for support. Returned a week later.

Absolutely rock solid fingerprint lock. Incredibly easy to use and set up, had both trigger fingers plus my wife's set within minutes of opening (after the first charge!). This was a test trial to see how well the lock works as I wanted one for my CC at home and the other quick grab I have. Very quickly made the choice to buy a 2nd and would highly recommend

Took a while to accept finger print as the panel is small and then you need write down which finger you used .Easier to use the key provided.Covers the whole trigger quite well
