Very disappointed with the helmet and would not recommend that anyone purchases this particular model. I ordered a size medium in accordance with sizing guide and although the helmet would seem to fit, it is not snug or free of movement at all. The ratchet system for a snug fit does not ratchet down into a safe position, leaving the user susceptible to fatal damage. The images provided by the seller would make the helmet appear to provide coverage to the back lower side of your skull and this is not the case. The quality is very cheap and evidently the parts used are also cheap. This product should not be used for mountain biking to avoid the risk of injury.

Fits well, it is light weight and very comfortable. Can double as a road helmet as well. The fit system works flawlessly and keeps the helmet nice and snugg, even in the event of a crash. Which I can attest to from personal experience. The first day I wore it trail riding it protected my head when I crashed on some muddy terrain and struck the ground twice with my head during the fall. The helmet performed flawlessly. Also the MIPS feature is crucial for any rider due to the additional crash protection it provides. Highly recommended!

My 15-year-old son was hit by a car while crossing the street on his bike. He ended up with bumps and bruises and a concussion. Fortunately, he was wearing this helmet. The neurologist who saw him stated that this helmet, with the MIPS system, was key to his head injury not being worse.

I wanted a helmet to match the bike. This one is perfect. It looks great too!

I like this helmet very much, the fit is the best I have experienced, however this model is all black, not the blue and black camo pictured. so I have to send it back for that reason. I think this is maybe the previous years model as they to not list a black version on Scotts website.
