100% Organic Cacao Butter 16oz by Tisano

This product arrived on time and the quality was great. I used it to make deodorant and lip gloss. Great substitute because Mountain Rose Herbs was sold out on everything i tried to order. I will definitely order from this manufacturer again.

I use this product as an ingrediant for recipies where I want to increase the amount of cocoa butter. I'm still experimenting but I have had positive results for the things I have used it in.

It's a good quality product. I gave it fewer stars because I didn't realize that it would have such an intense "chocolate" odor. I made a body lotion, which I gave away because I didn't enjoy the strong chocolate smell, but it worked nicely with the other body lotion ingredients.

This showed up on my doorstep today and while initially I purchased it for making home cosmetics, I can tell you now that isn't gonna happen. Because I'm going to eat all of it. I took a chunk out just for an exploratory nibble and well, the whole thing ended up sliding into my mouth. It was kinda gross at first, being that I don't generally eat giant slabs of fat, but I stuffed in some dried cranberries and walnuts and I was good to go. It was very clear that not eating this cacao butter would be wasting it. I've got some cherry chocolate cooling right now and look forward to the many other delicious treats I will be making from this. Also, love the resealable package and love that it is in chunks. Very convenient.

This is pure cacao butter. No sweeteners or added flavors. You can start from scratch to make with it what you want. I like milk chocolate but hate how much sugar goes into ready-made versions (I don't care how much you spend on it; there is just too, too much sugar.). I mixed about 1/3 of cacao butter and 2/3 99% chocolate (Valhrona and/or Scharffenberger) with some heavy cream and aspartamine. It turned our very well. If I didn't have to cut the carbs, I would use regular sugar, but sparingly.

It smells amazing and feels great. If the weather si warm applying it is easy. If it is cold, then applying it is very difficult.

We were looking for a good organic cacao butter to make home made chocolate and other desserts, this is a very good buy.
