Yes, the coffee cup comes off.  My 5 year old niece LOVES this product because she can cook with mommy.  You can really mix real drinks etc.

I have not opened a box to measure each unit, but the over all box dimensions are 23 inches long, 11 inches high, and 6 inches deep.  All 3 appliances fit inside.  It's a great value for the price as my grand daughter loves the set we sent her.  Here are more details:
