The media could not be loaded. It goes perfect for my countertop and you can’t smell the compost. The filters they provided work great and there are extras included No fruit pesto fruit flies, light Penrith but sturdy.I couldn’t possibly be happier with the color, size, and how well it’s works. Go me right?

Love the environmental practice of composting & this "bucket" is the perfect size for my needs. Since it is summer, I fill & empty it at least every 2 days. Have not experienced any odors. Rinses easily. The style fits any kitchen decor.

I purchased the Stainless Steel version. This product is VERY nice. Good quality. I keep it conveniently placed near my kitchen sink but can easily be hidden in the cabinet under the sink if desired. The lid is loose enough to allow for use of liners which makes cleanup a breeze. I simply use big box plastic bags (doubled) for liners and they work great. This compost bin comes with 1 extra set of filters. Filter replacements can be found on Amazon. Holds alot of food scraps. Handle is nice when you want to move it. I would definitely recommend this product!

Solid construction, looks great, nice product. Fruit flies still are a little attracted to it but I’ve got a pretty big fruit fly problem so it wasn’t going to be magic. Big enough for a few days between empties for our family’s produce heavy diet.

This compost bin goes above and beyond my expectations. It holds a lot of food scraps, with no odor to permeate my kitchen. I chose the copper color, which looks beautiful on my countertop. Cleaning is very easy. The bin is sturdy without being heavy and cumbersome. I highly recommend this product!!

This compost bucket replaces two previous buckets which I replaced for various reasons. First a plastic one which I thought would be great because of not rusting, etc but the first time I emptied it during a cold weather period it broke when I tapped it to dislodge the compost. Also the filter was inadequately attached to the top and would often come off. The second compost bucket was a painted metal with a plastic liner. The lid was always slightly too well fitting and resisted my efforts to easily take it off, and the plastic liner also met its partial demise during cold weather tapping out the contents. Additionally the filter was held in place by four metal tabs. I don't know how many times I had to eventually fish out this filter from the compost pile.This bucket, provided by Red Factor, seems to be a winner. Since it has only been several weeks after the purchase, I can't tell you that it will last forever, etc but I can tell that the lid fits snugly without any stickiness, making using it a snap. You don't need two hands to open it up, nor do you need worry about it being a pathway for fruit flies. The thickness of the metal suggests that it won't be affected by the occasional tapping to get the compost to exit into the pile. Also the filters, two of them, seemed to be engineered to both stay in place but yet easy to replace. At this time I can only assume that they will work with both flies and odors. Oh yes, it is attractive as well as being completely functional.Red Factor says that they are a small company comprised of a couple. Regardless, my order was promptly received, processed, and shipped out. Their packaging suggests that they are enthusiastic about their products.

I went back and forth a bit before ordering this product but I’m so glad I did! It looks great in person - the copper color is gorgeous and high quality. The functionally is great also as I never smell any of the bad compost smells. It came with two separate filters in the lid which is why I think it works so well. I’ve even gotten compliments on it from other people who have compost bins.It’s held up really well in the few months I’ve had it even with me accidentally hitting it again a few things. It feels sturdy and the handle has a special rubber grip which I find nice. Also I haven’t seen any rust even though the inside gets wet a lot.Would definitely recommended!
