It's unscented. This is the top quality available on Amazon. There is a link on the packaging that provides the instructions in english. The bottle outlet is designed in such a way so the oil can be despensed without making contact. This is important to keep the contents free of contaminants. Use on hair, skin, dry hands and even knife blades. I've tryed others. This one is the best. It has become a daily staple.

Q: will this help loosen curls and eliminate frizz?

I have long curly hair. I use it before I apply moose. It makes hair soft, shiny and does help with frizz. It strengthens the hair but doesn’t loosen up the curls. I also apply it on the ends to prevent split ends.

Q: whether to wash with water?

Please drop 1-3 drops as per length of your hair to use it. You can wash out with your shampoo. Please understand just 1-3 drops not more than that. You can increase the quantity as you like, off course.
