Good start!
The angled lines were a lot of help to me. Having the angles to help you while trying to learn calligraphy really, If you try really hard you can see that your letters need to be slightly slanted. It is even hard to see on drill pages.

Thin paper that bleeds
Nice guidelines, but too thin. Bled through 4 sheets. Very frustrating for a beginner.

Great quality!
Paper is nice and dense, allows for a clean flow of ink.

Not for bottled ink
Ink from fountain pens or calligraphy pens spiders, leaving fuzzy lines both wide and thin. Bleeds thrugh to back of page rendering it useless.

Thin, ink bleeds through, ink comes out and spreads
They just use regular printer paper with lines on them. Does not hold ink at all. The ink bleeds through so you can’t use the page after. I was looking forward to this paper to get some practice done but it’s really hard to find a good practicing pad.

NOT heavyweight paper AT ALL,
Bleeds through, ink spreads. This is soft cheap paper. There is no way this is 90 # paper as claimed in the description. It is certainly not “quality heavyweight paper”. There is a typo right on the face of the pad (PAPE instead of PAPER!) The only good thing about this paper is the 55° slant – which I could do myself on good paper.I do not recommend for any serious calligrapher except children or complete beginners.
