can this be used to detect air leaks in an air duct?

I’ve used this many of times, and I would say no. There is in no way enough smoke coming out to even last as long as you would need it to for an air duct, sorry.

Where can i get a replacement chaeger?

I haven’t seen separate parts offered for this. Mine stopped holding a charge after 3 seasons of use, so I bought a second Wind Scout. Now I leave the old charger in my truck and the new one at home on my work bench.

How do I know when the battery is charged?

The led indicator turns green when the charge is complete.
