*Updated Review*Seller contacted me and offered a free replacement. I accepted and received the item 5 days later. The seller also asked that I consider editing my review (the same day I received the replacement) to which I responded saying that I would once I had the item for a little while and made sure it was going to work correctly. I wasn't about to give a higher rating just because I got a free replacement, I wanted to use it and know it was a good controller and going to last more than 5-6 weeks.The replacement light controller, is already dead/not working. I got it 8/20/19 and it stopped working 9/28/19. Just a few days shy of 6 weeks.... AGAIN!And again, I only used this light for an average of 10-12 hours a week.... About 1-2hrs a night and not even every night at that.Because the seller tried to make it right with the replacement, I'm going to give it a "2 star" rating. As far as the item that the seller sells here, I would take your money elsewhere.***Original review below***Delivered June 21st 2019Stopped working August 1st 2019I had this device setup with my Eco Dot and controlled by Alexa. Everything was working fine until yesterday evening I noticed the lights over the fireplace, didn't turn on. I tried a new power supply, resetting it with the Eco Dot and the "recommended" app. Nothing was working. Then I replaced the device with the another controller I had (non wireless controller) and the lights came on instantly.Needless to say I'm not happy that this only made it a little over a month of use.

Seemed to be a good product, worked as expected on our 8’ of lights. However one day I came home and noticed the lights were on, very dim but on. Opened the app, the controller said it was off. Turned it on, cycled through tbe colors and it worked. Turned it off and the lights go back to a dim red. Upon deeper investigation, I see the module has started to melt and the plastic is distorted. I removed this module, and put the old RF controller back on the lights. Old RF controller worked correctly, and no dim red when off. ***Update*** The seller reached out to me and sent a replacement extremely quickly. I have been using the replacement for about 2 weeks and so far it is working as expected. Time will tell if this replacement actually lasts. Originally a 2 star review, I have updated to a 4 star based on my overall experience with both seller and product.

most reviews will say this is garbage. but its definitely not, this thing kicks ass, let me say. you need to change the wifi name on the unit through the app and set security code if you want your phone to stay "connected" your phone by default is constantly searching out for a wifi network that has valid internet. that being said after you exit the app 99% of the time you will be disconnected from it. my suggestion is set the mode you want and leave it be. used plenty of these to know that all the negative reviews are mostly user error. also another common mistake is your phone has a list of previously connected devices user your wifi, make sure you go through that list and re connect otherwise it will not show up in your regular wifi dropdown menu.

The PERFECT buy for anyone who regrets buying some cheap light strips - aka everyone!! I only bought this because I lost my remote but I wish I had bought it a long time ago! Works great, easy set up, completely 10/10 experience. I was worried there might be some pairing issues depending on what kind of strip I had but as long as you have multi-colored LEDs it seems to be pretty universal. Only wish is that the music mode worked with Spotify. The microphone mode is a decent substitute, but it means any talking in the room will also affect the lights. Not taking away any stars for that because I would consider it a bonus feature. So happy I purchased!

I really love these wireless LED Smart controllers based on setup, functionality and how amazing they help my TV LEDs look. Going through and replacing all the standard IR receivers with these smart controllers is a breeze. Simple setup, fast installation and extremely dependable for months going on years now. I took it a step further and got them added to Google Home. Family and friends are always amazed and impressed with how these LED Smart controllers can improve LED lighting functionality with smart phone and Google Home. Like I said, time to place another order and I always try to place orders with the seller SUPERNIGHT considering they ship fast and provide top notch product so why would I chance it anywhere else right.

These units, available from several sources are great, when they work, which they usually do. This particular unit, however, had trouble maintaining a WiFi connection, when other units had no trouble at all. Defective antenna? Perhaps, but why would it connect at all then? When working, the units do everything the App tells them to, with minimal delay.

I'm a little mixed on these, they are easy to set up, bought three, one constantly disconnects from the network. It may be my router, but I wouldn't expect it to completely disappear from the app, maybe just loss of connection.They also make my lights blue and green opposite, if I say turn lights blue, it'll go green, and vice versa.It could be my light strips, could be my network, gave it three stars because other seem to have success with them. I may try them on another network.

Rarely ever works.When i connected it to my router i could never find it anymore, had to reset router and delete the device from the mac list in order to use it as a wifi ap and control it again.The colors on the app are not accurate(that could be an issue with my leds, not sure).Sometimes it just doesnt appear as an access point, just whenever it feels like it.After 2 months of use the thing burned out because it overheated, no i did not give it more power than it recommends either.
