how does it do on the 8 plus?

Not entirely. It leaves a gap between the edges of the 8 plus screen and case. I was disappointed since I know this "gap" is going to fill with dirt and gunk every time I put it in my pocket. I haven't been able to find a ZAGG screen protector to fit the 8 plus correctly yet. A shame, I favor the company over any other for my screen protectors.

I am using this sp on my 10s and it installs perfectly and I have no problems using the otterbox statement case along with the sp.
