These spikes are reasonably useful however they don’t stay on your feet as well as they should someone has to learn the technique of walking carefully when using them however they are better than nothing.

I am a DIY home owner who purchased 2 pairs of these shoes mainly for doing the garage flooring epoxy project with my buddies; and we have done a total of three 3-car garage floors (epoxy basecoat pour + top coat) in the last 2 weeks and I can confidently say that these are some really great shoes that are a MUST HAVE if you are doing any kind of epoxy flooring as they enable you to walk on the poured epoxy to squeezy or roll the product without making a mess on the floor or on your shoes. Below are some of my observations after using them multiple times:1) Quality of these shoes and the spikes is pretty good as we did not have any kind of issues like nuts or bolts come loose on us during the project.2) The shoes come with 4 straps that are more than adequate to keep your shoes tugged to the spikes; just make sure the straps are hugging the shoes pretty good with no slack as that can cause you to slip especially when you are in the middle of the project squeezing or rolling the epoxy.3) The straps on these spike shoes are adjustable to varying lengths & heights of different shoes/boots. Just take some time much ahead of your project so that you can adjust them to your shoe size; as that will save you a lot of hassle later on. Also, I found that the straps on these shoes are pretty long to cater to different shoe sizes, so make sure you either cut them to your desire length or tuck them pretty well so that they don't come off in the middle of the project causing unnecessary mess up.4) If you are new to these spike shoes, do wear them before hand and practice walking on them to get a feel for it as walking on these spike shoes is a bit different than walking on regular shoes. Always, remember to walk by lifting your foot completely; not by heel and do not drag your feet either as that may cause you to slip.5) I believe these shoes may be able to easily support shoe lengths of up to 13 FT without an issue as they have a back rest/stopper to prevent your heel from slipping back. My buddies and I have shoe lengths ranging from 9-12 FT and we had no issues whatsoever.Overall, great shoes and highly recommend to anyone that's doing any flooring epoxy projects.

The straps are waaay to long so be careful you don't step on them, but I suppose way to long is better than way too short. These worked well for our concrete staining project

Overall, it works. Straps are good. I added Loctite on each nut and that keeps everything together. Anyone who wants to know how well these fits on a men's size 12 boot, see the photo.The one issue I have with it is, what is this big plastic bumper thing at the toe of the shoe? (See photo with the big red arrow pointing at it.) Because of the bumper, you have to remember to keep lifting each foot up, then move it. You cannot lean forward/ lift your heel in this, otherwise your leaving huge marks from the toe bumper on the new surface.To fix this, I am going to end up sanding the bumper off. Would I buy this for my crew, yes.

In general I liked them. Only problem was the size. I'm a woman who wears shoes size 7 and the one size they sell is for a man who wears at least 13.

The straps are way too long, you have to get creative & tie them up.

These were sturdy enough for my 6ft 2 husband when we concreted the floor. Did exactly what was expected.
