There are many reviews here about the bar snapping and causing injury. The severity of the injury will depend on what exercise you are doing. I was squatting when the bar snapped and because the metal is paper-thin it cut like a blade all around my neck leaving me needing stitches.They advertise you can use up to 3 bands on each side and each band can be shortened to the equivalent of 70-80lbs each. That's close to 500lb which I was nowhere near and the metal still split like can of coke under pressure.The issues with the bar as I mentioned are the metal being too thin to withstand any pressure and the screw and bolt that hold the two pieces together being way too short. With a stronger/longer core, even if thin metal had split it still would have not separated and caused injury.Squatting puts the most pressure on the bar as it is usually the heavier lift. If despite this review and all the others that have had a similar experience you decide to get it anyway - please don't squat, deadlift or do shoulder press.

Purchased this over a week ago and love it! I have already completed many workouts using this product. I love the versatility of it. I can work my all my muscle group and adjust resistance to work for my strength. I originally bought it because of the squat bar! I wanted to be able to do squats at home and was looking at squat racks but HATED that they took up so much space not too mention they were pricey. I saw this and the price was right! The grips on the product are comfortable. It comes with many accessories as well. I have bought countless home gym products and I love the fact that I only need this (although if you have an inclined bench you can even do chest exercises)! I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to work out at home and doesn't want to spend a fortune or is limited on space.

The base seems made of cheap plastic that smells badly (still does since I bought it a few weeks ago). I decided to put it in the storage room and not planning to use it for the next few months because of the smell. Not commenting on the functionality of this product as I haven't started using it.

Amazing product. I can now work out at home easily. The bodyboss contains easy instructions for set up and for working out. I can now say good bye to my gym membership.

I love it, I’m getting great workouts BUT it only comes with 1 pair of bands???? I’ve had to buy a set of bands for it to be effective!
