Just as described, worked perfectly

This solved my problem with my 98 Chevy Express van. I had been struggling with a crank/no start problem for over a year. Seemed it was always worse during wet weather and sometimes I was stranded for up to 5 days! Finally came to the conclusion that there was condensation in my distributor cap. Replaced with this cap and rotor and sealed with dielectric grease and silicone at the seam. Cranks like a champ now even in a storm. I could see a big difference in the quality between these parts and the ones I was replacing.

Truck is running good

After reading reviews that had said the cap screws stripped, , I took great care in not dropping the ones I had. Examining the difference, I found the new ones had a finer thread so I reused the originals. Other than that the cap and rotor fits well and now my trk goes vroom .

Like I said great product five stars all the connections are brass quality made. The only issue is you MUST use your original screws. My distributor was plastic which are course thread screws I wasn't paying attention and put in their screws which was a little bit bigger diameter and fine thread. Unfortunately I busted my distributor Anchor point resulting in me having to buy a brand new distributor.
